  1. I take 2.8 grams of Omega 3 supplements per day right now... which I might slightly increase in a week or so. However, I eat alot of Salmon and seafood, flaxseed, etc everyday! My Omega 3 intake must be EXTRMELY HIGH. I probably eat around 8-10 grams of Omega 3 per day! Isn't that dangerous? They recommend 2-4 grams per day, right?
  2. Uh oh... I took a second glance at the formula of the Fish oil capsules I've been using, and to my surprise... I've been taking them for over a week now... why is there no mention of DHA in the formula? Isn't that a little weird? I was under the impression that the first (455 mg) was added to the other (250mg) to give you the total of Omega 3 in each capsule... however, they're both EPA... why would they put that twice? NdnRomeo, what do you suggest I do? Buy new capsules?
  3. NdnRomeo, can you please take a look at my thread? http://www.acne.org/messageboard/Did-I-buy...s--t153417.html I bought Mercury-free Fish oil capsules that are specifically for the skin (added with Vitamin E, etc) Each fish oil capsules has 705 MG of Omega 3... Can you please check that link for more information? Thanks in advance!
  4. http://www.genuinehealth.com/english/pbn/o...amp;section=187 They're specifically for the skin! I've been using them for over a week now (I've been taking 4 capsules per day, which is what they recommend. It adds up to a little under 3 grams of Omega 3). Just read the information, these capsules sound great! Also, here's the formula: -id System enteric-coated EPA-rich triple fish oil concentrate (from anchovy, sardines and mackerel) 455 mg -EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) 250 mg -Red tomato e
  5. If it ever has any bleeding, crusting or any other problematic signs like that, you really should go get it checked out by a dermatologist since it is bright red and has shown no sign of fading. Just to be safe. It could simply be the left over inflammation from healing of a pimple. The erythema can stay that long. If it is simply erythema, a topical retinoid or hydroquinone cream will help with reducing the redness. Even some gentle AHAs and/or salicylic acid will help unless you are se
  6. There's a small bright red spot on the tip of my nose that's been there for about 5 months... it shows no signs of fading, and compared to my other red marks, there hasn't been any progress! I believe I had an inflammed pimple on that spot, which I treated (don't remember how). So, what can I do?
  7. I dont know if it helps but I also have naturally light mocha skin and I try to avoid the sun because it's bad for red marks on the long term...
  8. Most of mine disappear within a week or maybe two at most ... This is what I do: - Get 6 to 8 grams of Omega 3 per day... (From food and supplements) - Eat alot of protein foods - I drink around 8 tall glasses of WARM to HOT water only and I add a green tea bag in almost every cup I drink... - I wash my face with a cleanser for sensitive skin morning and night - I use the lemon egg white mask as DELNA proposed in her thread ... - I moisturize - Sleep 8 hours And that's it. 9. Okay... well I have very mild acne and I've been using Tea Tree oil to spot-treat over the past few weeks or so and I wasn't very happy with the results. I was using BP 5% a while back, (from personal experience I believe it worked better but if I used it too often my skin would get irritated). Now I'm planning to switch back to Benzoyl Peroxide 5% but I also have a few questions ... #1 - Should I be using it before going to bed only? #2- Can BP be used on whiteheads or very small pimples? Of
  10. I never get cysts... It might be a nodule but it seems like it's getting smaller now... no it's not placebo effect I didn't use anything to take down the swelling either! Do bumps sometimes come and go??? Cause this one seems to be going away!!!!
  11. I noticed a bump on my cheek... it's um not very small in size.. you can see it. It's not huge either. I don't think it was there in the morning when I looked at myself in the mirror. It doesn't hurt, I don't see a head, it's not inflammed and it's skin colored! What can it be??? If it's a pimple forming, what can I do -now-?
