  1. Have you ever tried an elimination diet to see if you might have a sensitivity to certain foods? Where you didn't eat for a week and saw an improvement, it makes me wonder. You could try eliminating dairy for a week or two, for example, just to see what happens. I also suffered with stubborn whiteheads for a long time before I started taking a daily zinc supplement. I think I must have had a slight deficiency as my skin cleared up very quickly after that. You might want to give that a try too.
