  1. do you have to use a moisturizer with Retin-A Micro? I usually use neutrogena for combo skin...but I'm still getting pimples after 7 months of use....Im starting to wonder if the moisturizer is a cause.....
  2. what retin-a is everyone on? I was on .04% but ran out and have to do a mail in order with my prescription. My derm gave me .1% samples to hold me over so Im using that now. Is .1% probably better?
  3. I've been using retin-a micro for about 7 months. It has worked, however it hasn't completely 100% cleared me up. I have mild acne, and I don't think ANYTHING clears just plain mild acne. However, one thing I have noticed is that retin-a really smoothes out your skin. My skin is smooth, but I still get blemishes and somewhat big pimples but not cysts. I've heard that retin-a will show improvements but you really need to use it for almost a year if you want to see 100% results. It's a very slow p
  4. How come some mirrors my face looks very bad? And others it looks fine?.....i do have an acne problem, i guess a mild case of it...however some mirrors makes me think its severe....anyone else notice this? It makes it hard to tell really how bad my skin really is.... I noticed my rearview mirror displays cases like this and other mirrors......
  5. I use the same moisturizer for night and morning...should i be using a different one? What moisturizer's does everyone use that are effective? Oh and i don't apply retin-a or benzaclin around my mouth too much or above my mouth(where a mustache would be)...thats the odd thing...its flaky though
  6. if u've tried everything and it hasn't worked, your best bet is to go to accutane. Just make sure your aware of the risks.....but if its your last hope, I would go for it....depending on how bad your acne is though
  7. I mix benzaclin with retin-a micro at night...it seems to be working well, not great though....However nothing really works great......I would definitely recommend it, just make sure to get a good moisturizer ( i use neutrogena).....
  8. I have mild acne, been using retin-a for about 6 months now. It seems to be working for the most part. It doesn't clear everything 100% but it keeps it mild. However, around my mouth area and parts of my chin ( around my mouth) are flaky. Not so much dry, just flaky. How do I get rid of this? Im using neutrogena for sensitive skin moisturizer. Any info you guys/gals could share would be great. Thanks

  10. I've been on retin-a for a couple months now, with some good results. However, Im still experiencing oily skin...its pretty annoying. Isn't retin-a supposed to decrease oily skin? Anyone know? Thanks
  11. What cleansers does everyone use? Im currently using Retin-a and benzaclin at night...however Im looking for a cleanser to use in the shower, and in the morning to wash off the retin-a/benzaclin. Basically, anything that is not overdring, something very gentle. Thanks
  12. I use neutrogena moisturizer for combination skin....works really well...try it out
  13. I am looking for info. on what everyone uses in the shower and morning to wash their face? Basically, at night in the shower I use a Dove wash, but I think it is an exfoliator. It isn't too harsh, but I've heard you should only exfoliate 3 times a week. After the shower, I apply RAM AND Benzaclin (i mix them together)....I then apply neutrogena combination skin moisturizer. In the morning when I wake up I wash off with the Dove. SO, I am looking to see what kind of washes are out there that a
