  1. I'm was put on a 4 month course of roaccutane, didn't do a thing apart from get worse. Then after 3 months it's suddenly started to get so much better. I wake-up and look in the mirror and smile coz it;s so much flatter and not as red as it was. got 5 weeks left. I put germalene cream on my face every night and that does wonders, trust me, put a thin layer on and it really does work. Also drink load of water, all thoughout the day, it's boring but you'll see improvements after about a week or
  2. Could be that it's helping then, carry on with them. I'm on roaccutane and you think these are bad affects, but there not, stick with it and your start to see improvements. It just your skin getting used to something in your system. When your skin is sensitive, don't use any harsh product on it, try a little germalene, maybe mix it with a little gentle moisturizer if you don't want it to be too strong, it does wonders, and stops it hurting after a while.
  3. yes thought suicidal thoughts before, got roaccuatane and now i'm getting happier every day , when i wake up look in the mirror and see improvements every day! If your skin upsets you, you should get help, talk to your family and close friends about it. Try creams, antibiotics, and if it comes to it roaccutane. It does improve it, apparent suicidal thoughts linked to it but no different from how you feel everyday before starting it. Get it sorted out sooner rather than later or you will end
  4. use concealer not foundation to cover up spots. Best one is rimmel clear complexion cover stick, use a small lip lining brush to blend in once most is done to make it look perfect. Use rimmel Clear complexion anti-shine powder, but don't use the sponge applicator pad to apply, instead buy a big powder brush, and dust over your face this will stop clogging the pores as much. Another good powder is Max factor creme puff, covers up so well and evens out complexion, i love this powder but can clo
  5. prob will help, everones bodys respond differently. Good luck, it cleared up my acne to start with but then started not working. I ended up on roaccutane, got 5 weks left till i finish my 4 month course. Only started making massive improvement 2 weeks ago, and every day i wake up it's better than the day before. Good luck with tetra!
  6. When i started roaccutane that's just what i thought but after about a week or so of being on it i got a flare up, thenit would calm down then i'd get another one! It's unpredictable! How much do you weigh? coz i know the doseage is worked out by this. They should give you between 0.5mg-1mg for every kg of you body weight. See i weigh just 50kg which is about 8 stone/ 110 pounds. so i take 50mgs per day consisting of 2x20mgs and 2x5mgs, i take mine all at the same time. first thing in the mo

  9. That does sound strange to me, but then i'm not your derm, there might be a reason to why he/she's done it like this. All i do know is that i'm on 50mg a day and i'm on a 16 week course. I heard roaccutane shouldn't be taken over a long period of time, And i don't under stand why you've got such a huge gap in between each course. I was told you shouldn't stop taking it, i've heard of a days gap but not longer. coz by that time it would have got out your sytem alot. It does get worse to start
  10. I've been on roaccutane now for about 8 weeks, I wouldn't really worrie about the side affects, they only list them all coz they have to. The one ones your really get are dry cracked lips, this is definate, so use vaseline from the day you start the treatment. Other side affects, possibly a few headaches, but you can take painkillers for that. The best thing is that your skin will quicky become dryer and you won't have the terriable oily skin. Mine was so oily, and now it's not at all. Your'l
