  1. Hmm ... so I've been using the Paula's Choice bha at night and the aha souffle in the morning for about 2-3 weeks. No progress on the acne, but my skin has been looking pretty nice otherwise. Gonna keep on going with this combination and then at some point try adding in Green Cream, to go on at night after the bha. Maybe that will help. Trying to be patient. Ugh.
  2. Mine looked kind of like that when I was younger, and Accutane totally helped, and it's never been as bad since even though I've been off it for like 8 years. I hardly ever get cysts like that on my cheeks anymore, and I used to get them a lot. Now I just have little bumps.
  3. Nobody points out my zits, but occasionally my roommate points out that I'm wearing makeup even though we're not going anywhere fancy (like, "ooh, you're wearing makeup! who are you trying to impress?") ... and the reason I'm wearing it is because I almost *always* wear some makeup (foundation + powder) to cover up my bad skin! She has perfect skin so she doesn't have to do this. I want to tell her to lay off, but I'm embarrassed.
  4. Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm going to try to get to a dermatologist again to see if I can get some prescription stuff, but until then I'm going to try the green cream (I got samples of it, and I like it so far anyway). In the other thread with the celebrity acne pictures, there was one of Britney Spears where she looked like she had these bumps on her forehead too. Which actually depressed me because she can go to any dermatologist or aesthetician in the world and get all the expensive
  5. Hmm, I had never heard of "milia" before -- my brief research says it is something like whiteheads, but not exactly the same thing? Are they the kind of thing that accutane helps with? When I did my first course of accutane way back when, I was mostly concerned w/ the cysts, and it totally helped with that ... I didn't even pay attention to this kind of stuff. Also, I've never had an acne facial before, and it sounds kind of expensive, but if having one would be a big improvement I would defi
  6. How do you know if you have PCOS? I always wondered if maybe I have it, 'cause I have acne and irregular periods. Is there a test for it? Is there a treatment if you have it?
  7. Hi, I'm 26 and have never posted before. I had really bad acne when younger, and went through all different types of treatments which didn't work for me (the pill, retin A, various antibiotics, arithromycin cream ...), until I tried accutane (when I was 18) which basically permanently got rid of my body acne and most of the cystic acne I had on my cheeks and chin. Yay! So ... my skin is way better than it was when I was a teenager. But (like most others on this board) I thought by 26 I would
