  1. So I went to a dermatologist and was prescribed doxycycline. I have been taking it for 1 month and while there is improvement, I am still getting cysts. I cannot take it anymore! I don't understand why I am still getting cysts, and was wondering how many months it takes for the cysts to stop coming? Anyone who has taken doxy, I would love to hear your experience with it!

  3. Hi, im also in high school, and I decided to join this sight to hopefully get some advice and maybe talk to some people, like you haha. I actually started getting pimples in 6th grade as well, also when I got my period. Recently when I started my sophomore year the pimples I had turned cystic which sucks so much.   4. I started getting cystic acne on my cheeks in October, and while there are still a few, I mostly now have red scars and marks. The scars are not pitted, just red, and I was wondering if there is anything anyone has tried that has worked in speeding up the healing process of acne marks. I am currently using apple cider vinegar, although I am not noticing much of a difference.
  5. I feel you! I used to pick at them thinking that it is easier to cover a mark rather than a large bump, but I have been stopping less and less. I have scars now and they are healing and I do not want to add more, but I will admit its hard not picking at them. You just have to hang in there and since we are teenagers hopefully this hormonal phase will be coming to a close!
