  1. Awh. Just hang in there! You can do it. Whenever I think my face looks bad, I just think about the people who have it 100x worse than me, and then it makes me feel better. Nonetheless, you still look pretty. :]
  2. duude. nice improvements! i hope to get as far as you man!
  3. I guess I'll be keeping a log throughout my accutane journey. A lil' about myself: 19.college student. HATE getting blood work done. have been suffering from acne since i was 13. mostly break out with cystic acne along my chin/jaw line area, and pimples on the forehead. my skin is usually really OILY, i can go through about two oil absorbing sheets a day so IM HOPING accutane will dry up all the oil on my face. REGIME: 60 mg a day SOTRET Cleanser: Paula's Choice Skin Balancing cleanser Moisto
  4. Quick question - I'm seeing the dermatologist tomorrow and for sure know that he'll prescribe me Accutane. However, I talked with my insurance company (anthem/blue shield) and they gave me some BS story about how they won't cover it because the drugs are too expensive? My insurance covers RX Formulary and RX Non-Formulary... and when Iasked if accutane was under rx non-formulary, they said no.. that accutane had to be generic and non formulated? any ideas?
  5. How well does accutane fix the oilyness around the t-zone area? currently, my t-zone area is very oily, i can almost use 2 sheets of absorbing sheets alone on my t-zone. Also, how fast does it take to get onto accutane once you consult with your doctor? Does it have to be a dermatologist to get onto accutane or can it be a family doctor?
  6. I read about the EVOO, + mixed with the castor oil... and decided to give it a try last summer. I don't think it really helped me at all. I had terrible cystic acne on my jawline and when I added oil to it - it just made my jawline even worse, and even more red. My skin looked the same too. I tried for a month, and eventually gave up. =( Glad it's working for you guys, though!
  7. Or an allergy. The two are very similar if you are familiar with leaky gut syndrome. Both have to do with intestinal weaknesses of sorts. and doing a colon detox helps immensely with digestion and with my chinline acne

  9. No, I was just saying that nutritional yeast was how I figured out that b vitamins would make my jawline acne go away. But I take the supplements now instead of the nutritional yeast.
  10. I've been experiencing cystic breakouts along my jawline.. and I'm wondering what kind of supplements might help with this? I heard that jawline acne can ususally be asssociated with hormonal, but I'm a guy. I guess guys can get hormonal acne, too. How's zinc for jawline?
  11. My breakout is occuring on both sides of my jawline, it's worse on my right side though. I don't really drink milk at all, and I also don't really eat greasy foods at all. Could it be an infection?
  12. I keep coming back to this forum, because for some reason, my chin keeps breaking out! The pimples on my chin go away, but they persistantly keep coming back. For instance, in September, I got a facial w/ extractions, and the esthetician extracted tons of pimples on my jawline area, and about two weeks later, I was pretty clear. I could literally run my hand along my chin and it was smooth, but there were still some red marks. However, a month later, I started breaking out again. I decided to ge
  13. has anyone here had any success with the reduction in redness? i'm not really breaking out so much, but rather have discoloration in my face. The area under my eye, and parts of my nose are yellow, but my cheeks, forehead, and upper lip area are red. It's just reallt awkward looking. http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/6414/img3904fl6.jpg
  14. yeah, i think it's from the tazorac. i've been putting aloe, but it's still dry. i also thought about using some cetaphil moistorizer... but i'm scared that will break me out even more. actually, they're more like whiteheads.. has anyone tried tea tree oil for jawline acne? someone recommended it to me, but would like to get other people's opinion first before i try.
  15. Does anyone here use Sunless tanning on their face? What products do you use? How well do they work? My face had a nice tan this summer, but ever since I've been breaking out, I've been staying inside, and now my face looks WHITE (im asian, supposed to have YELLOw skin) with a bunch of red marks everywhere. sad. I want to tan, but I can't because I'm sensative to sunlight and hyperpigment really fast. Has anyone had success with sunless tanning on the face?
  16. I swear I kinda look like you. could you be my test guy and try it than leave a review in a couple weeks? LOL - I'm scared to try this. My face is alrdy effed up anyways. =(
  17. Wow.. I think I found the right thread. :] My face is constantly red, especially on my cheeks and forehead. Sometimes, people think I'm drunk ( i get red when i'm drunk) when i'm really not. i have extremely extremely sensative skin, and anything gycolic screams dry skin to me. has any asians try this yet? i really wanna try this, but im scared.

  19. Wow, my chin is breaking out AGAIN. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v331/sliqx88/IMG_4232.jpg This honestly sucks. I don't know what's causing this. I'm taking fish oil + drinking ACV, and I'm still breaking around my jawline, not to mention it's just blotchy. I've been applying the Mint Julep mask every night to my jawline, and it doesn't seem like it's helpingmuch at all. What should i do? I went to kmart today, found a couple of sample packs of facial masks. http://img.photobucket.com/
