  1. Me too, my skin looks even worse in the dreams... redness in particular!
  2. Yes I have... my skin is drier and I'm not using anything except Zinc (no BP, no creams etc.) So I don't have to take Zinc with Copper? Separate meals?
  3. I know it's tough, it seems like acne will never end for me too... I'm 26 (acne since 18). Did you try Zinc? It's keeping my acne under control with just 20mg per day. No, I haven't but thank you for the tip. When I finish taking Doryx I will definitely try taking zinc and vitamin 3d (as others have suggested also) to see if that helps I tried vitamin d3 too... I've stopped taking it because I guess Zinc is doing all the job, but it's subjective.
  4. I'm taking 20mg per day and it's keeping my acne under control... if you take more than 20 you should add 2/3mg of copper. No side effects, I had some minor stomac aches and 3/4 white hairs (yes... if u take too much zinc without copper) when I was taking 60mg per day.

  6. Please don't use lasers if u still have active acne... my experience with CO2 http://www.acne.org/messageboard/topic/291956-co2-laser-need-some-direction-and-peoples-experiences/?p=3096348 Accutane seems a Russian Roulette... 2 friends of mine took it without any problem but I read too many horror stories and I won't risk. I know I'll regret this decision
  7. Same here... I had a CO2 laser treatment and I ended up with redness (for months) and new acne; my skin became very sensitive too (now is very difficult for me to use BP, retin-a etc.). After this experience I don't think I will try other invasive treatments like lasers etc., they just make things worse. I know it's tough but scars are better than scars + redness + sensitive skin + acne, so think about it twice before going for another miracle treatment like I did that is definitely somethi

  9. Have you tried zinc and/or vitamin d3? I'm taking 60mg of zinc and 50ug of vit.d3 per day and they seem to help my acne with no side effects.
  10. Amazing results Rob! Congratulations!!! What about the downtime?
  11. Don't mix too many things... I'm on Zinc (60mg a day), I'm not taking accutane. Accutane is a strong med, it doesn't need anything else to work good
  12. A harmless virus that lives on our skin could be used as a treatment for acne, scientists believe. The virus, called a phage, is naturally built to target and kill bacteria that cause acne - Propionibacterium acnes. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-19702511
