    Great

    Great

Great coverage (probably close to full) for acne and doesn't cause breakouts.

It's gentle but it won't help acne

It's gentle but it won't help acne

It is extremely gentle and great to use when you're trying new products. It won't help your acne at all, I've had some of my worst breakouts while using this but overall, it shouldn't make it worse. It's great if you're using Retinol A/Tretinoin. I've been using this and Neutrogena oil free moisturizer while on Tretinoin 0.1% for the past 2 months and I've had very little irritation.

    Not for acne

    Not for acne

I took this twice for strep throat and the first time around my acne stayed the same but the 2nd time I was prescribed it, I had the worst break out of my life. I had a huge amount of inflamed whiteheads, blackheads and tiny bumps all over my cheeks, jawline and around my mouth. It may be different for you but if you are prescribed this for a sickness, watch out.
  4. Any advice would be appreciated! I was prescribed Tretinoin Cream 01.% and Doxycycline 100mg 9 weeks ago. I never got the Doxy cause the reviews about throwing up scared me so I’ve just been using the Tretinoin. My skin cleared up on the Tretinoin after 2 weeks with just small breakouts... until 6 weeks. Since, I believe I’ve been purging. In a few days I’m moving to college and I’ll have a roommate so I’m super embarrassed. I think the purging is almost over but I know Tretinoin doesn’t usually
  5. Any advice would be appreciated! So I’m on week 8 of Tretinoin 0.1% cream. I developed acne at 19 from a pregnancy and miscarriage- that was a year ago. The first 2 weeks on Tretinoin my skin was breaking out like it had the past few months but by week 2 only scars were there. Week 3- another breakout but smaller than before Tretinoin Week 4- pretty clear Week 5- another breakout Week 6- Mostly scars and I thought this would be the end and the magical 6 week thing would happen, but it d

Good & Bad Birth Control Pills And Implants For Acne

Your number 1 (Zarah) gave me horrible acne when I never had acne before. Hopefully, one day I'll find the right BC.
  7. So I was on Zarah (generic of Yasmin) for over 4 months and it gave me horrible acne, like all over my face. I normally only got 2 pimples a month before starting Zarah (which is supposed to be good for acne). Anyway, I couldn't take it anymore and I quit. I've been off it for almost 3 months now and I'm still having horrible, painful acne. It got much better 2-3 weeks after quitting but it hasn't got any better since. I still have several new pimples a day, they're just not as big as they were

    Caused breakouts and cystic acne.

    Caused breakouts and cystic acne.

Before I used this I only had very mild hormonal acne. I thought this would make my skin perfect.... I was wrong. My skin was amazing the first week but then after that my hormonal acne increased and I had my first ever breakout with 4 huge pimples near my mouth. This also caused me to have cystic pimples, which I'd never had before. I had 4 cystic pimples while using this and since I stopped, I haven't had any. I used it for 3 months and that purging phase never stopped. My advice: if you have
  9. Hi, any help or advice would be appreciated so much! I started getting hormonal acne when I started my peroid at 13 (I'm 20 now), it was VERY minor just a spot on my chin and in between my eyebrows every month. I wanted this to stop so I was prescribed Zarah birth control back in the fall. Within 2 weeks, acne covered my face in a U shape around my mouth, like HUGE pimples filled with puss or clear liquid that would turn into open wounds. I stuck with it for 5 packs and it just got worse, I was

    Made me break out

    Made me break out

The stuff is like as thick as body lotion and it does moisturize well but it made my acne worse. I used it for 3 months, I was on birth control that gave me horrible acne (I had mainly clear skin before the birth control) and I thought cetaphil would help calm the breakouts- but it didn't. I eventually quit the birth control and my skin got way better but I was still having breakouts. So I quit this and after I quit using it my skin got even better. It's still not back to normal but eliminating

    Should I quit birth control?

So I started having minor hormonal acne at 14, the week before my period I would always get 2-3 larger pimples in my T-zone. I'm 20 now and back in September I got the Murad face wash, which gave me cystic acne (which I never had before). This is where it gets complicated. In November I became pregnant (I miscarried at 9 weeks), 3 days after I would've became pregnant I started Zarah birth control and I also quit using Murad. Within a week my acne was huge and surrounding my mouth and forehead,
