  1. Dermabrasion, combined with fat grafting and mktp transplantation, might give you guys a significant better result, its been observed that stemcells in fat imroves the scars a lot ,though its a slow process, this can be followed up with microneeedling with high needle density to fasten it. more studies is going on, about the role of stemcells in fat on regenerating skin.
  2. studies show (mkt) works better than recell for vitilgo patients, so the same implies for scar issues too. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17927795 also 90% cheaper than recell Treatment of vitiligo lesions by ReCell vs. conventional melanocyte-keratinocyte transplantation: a pilot study. Mulekar SV1, Ghwish B, Al Issa A, Al Eisa A. Author information Abstract BACKGROUND: Surgical procedures are indicated to treat stable vitiligo, refra
  3. Just to let you know I had also been using Catalysis Cicatrix cream from 6th month onwards.Feels like cream works, my recently revisioned scars are also improving well.
  4. Also would like to mention my results so far, its been 9months after treatment , I had it done on 3 scars 2wide thick ones and a one inch thin scar, Ive got veryy good improvement for the thin short scar and no significant improvement in the other two and I had to do scar revision again. There is significant improvement in pigmentation in the one inch short scar and i would say that scar has improved atleat75% to an extent that it doesnt bother me anymore, so the question here is, why I dint get
  5. Now avita has comeup with something new, renovacell for pigmentation, reading about it on their website feels its same as recell, dont know whether this too will be a disappointment for the patient after spending huge money. Anyway those who are desperate to get out of their condition, have enough money and consider they have nothing else to lose, may try, but please with a dermatologist not a plastic surgeon for a simple treatment like this they'll charge thousands of dollars as their fee.A de
  6. Hi , catsicum. I totally understand and wish this treatment improves your condition. why dont you consider flying to India, doctors are very skilled and it would be atleast 75% cheaper. please check this link , there are some honest before and after pics too, though its maily done for vitilgo. . http://www.nitalskinclinic.com/website/vitiligo.html
  7. hi, boostsvg , my scars scars were also caused by a car accident, I did this treatment in january and now even after four months ,I dont find more than 10% improvement, before the treatment i had expected only atleast 50% improvement after 6months, any now after 4 months it has only improved a maximum 10% and ill have to wait and see, my case was acessed by my surgeon here, and he said that the treatment has not improved my condition, maybe just the improvement of deep dermabrasion(scars got m
  8. all the best. I dont understand what experience has to do with such a simple procedure, may be money is not an issue for you. yes I agree recell does something, only solves less than 20% of the problem. Even I have to wait and see to get the final result. mine is a different issue though. its hypertrophic scars from a car accident, and ive gone through many treatments before.
  9. I got the scars in a car accident, years back, after recell my scars are not worser than before , but has not improved much either, maybe now after 3 months from the procedure, pigmentation has improved by maximum 20%, but its still very sensitive to sun ,though I use spf 50 sunscreen and its the same old scar tissue with slightly better pigmentation , it still looks very bad in some lighting angles and this treatment has not improved the way I feel, I just feel more terrible for spending so muc
  10. I had recell treatment done for my hypertrophic scars exactly 1 month back,, as of now Iam not at all happy with how it looks and doctor says it would improve over time and it might take upto 18months.one thing i would like to point about this treatment is both these doctors and avita are too much money oriented.I had the treatment done in Australia. I had to pay $1500 for recell kit and dermabrasion, $500 for needling, $250 for consultation, $5000 as doctors fee, $1000 procedure fee, $600 acc

  13. I would also like to share that recell is not a new revolutionary treatment, but a treatment from years back called melanocyte transplantation, but now avita has just commercialised it maximum with the recell tag . Scientific studies has proved it a failiure on many vitilgo patients. Here is one of the link http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2352241015000213
  14. hi Aesthetic beast I had recell treatment done for my hypertrophic scars exactly 1 month back, by dr.Jeremy who is an expert and a very good doctor, as of now Iam not at all happy with how it looks and doctor says it would improve over time and it might take upto 18months, it kind of sounds promising as you can imagine using cells ,if something had to be cultured in a lab, it takes sometime, no magic happens there , may be the same with our skin, its just my thought. one thing i would like to
