  1. An hour? Its a miricle drug IMO but it isnt that great. For me, I responded pretty fast, I noticed a reduction in severity of breakouts within 2-3 weeks. However, the severity of breakouts allways fluctuated, so I cannot guarentee it was down to Roaccutane. Within 2 months the cysts where gone, and now, most of the red marks have faided. My dermotologist said some people take about 6 months for it to work properly. Just be patient, and keep a lip moisturiser with you at all times, I app
  2. Aqueous cream worked for me and didnt seem to worsen acne.
  3. 20mg didnt make me any more depressed than I already was as a result of acne. IMO the benefit to self esteem etc far outweighs the risk of depression from Roaccutane. Ben
  4. Yeh a few times. I wouldnt put it down to any more than chance.
  5. 2/10 Barely noticable, had to look hard on th left side.
  6. Well, my acne got MUCH worse. It ended up covering about 1/3 my face. Few months later, I got the Roaccutane. 20mg/day for 2 months MAGIC! Seriously, if you can get it, go for it! No side effects noticed other than cracked lips (SERIOUSLY DRY!) 7. I weigh 10 stone, so roughly 60 kilogrames. Accutane is 0.5-1mg per kg, so I guess I should start at about 30mg, and work towards 60mg. What I really wanted to know is, how long after starting Accutane will I expect to see results? I was really hoping to get this cleared up (or at least, the worst gone) for after the Christmas holidays, so about a month and a half. Am I being unrealistic? Ben
  8. Thanks. Thats what I wanted to hear realy. Hope a skin care speciallist agrees. From what I can see there won't be much scarring, the skin between zits is fairly smooth, and I have been good about not picking so far. Good luck to everyone here. If I do get the Accutane ill post a daily log of how its going. Ben
  9. Acne started for me about age 11. I am now 16 years old and still suffering from it. Its never been a "massive" problem for me, not because it hasn't been bad, Just never really let it stop me socially. After using pretty much every over the counter product (including 10% BP) I have finally decided to try and get a course of Accutane. In the UK it it seems that it is quite hard to get hold of, and has to be perscribed by a skin care speciallist. Here are some photos of its current state. Can I
