  1. It might be the EM, some people have said they break out from it, especially if they're using the Intensive formula. Maybe you can try not using it for a few days to see if your skin calms down?
  2. Some (pretty old) blog posts on the EDM site and such refer to the Intensive formula of EDM as having two other ingredients not in the other three formulations: Allatonin and Indian Gooseberry. (Example of one post is here.) I couldn't find a mention of them on the ingredients page on the EM website though, so did they stop using those ingredients for the current formula?
  3. I just bought some Maybelline Clear Smooth pressed powder. I'm not sure if this is available outside of Asian countries, it comes in a light green perfectly round compact, and the box description describes it as being fragrance free, oil free, and non comedogenic. It looks okay, but the second ingredient is Corn Starch (Zea Mays), and I was wondering if this ingredient breaks anyone here out?
  4. I'm looking for a new pressed powder, has anyone used this one and did it break you out?
  5. I disagree with 'tash, when I tried mineral makeup, later THAT DAY my face was bumpy as heck, and over the next two weeks I broke out even more. I agree with the suggestion to try Revlon Colorstay though, I haven't tried it myself, but I hear their shades get pretty light and a lot of people here like it.
  6. Can i get a concealer or foundation name a specific one? You can look at the other threads for recommendations http://www.acne.org/messageboard/index.php?showtopic=155876
  7. You'd have to wear another concealer or foundation that is the same color as your skin over the green concealer.
  8. I probably take about two or three minutes, but that's because I don't use much, and because I'm usually putting it on when my mom is telling me to leave already or I'll be late for class. I just put on some powder foundation, which takes about thirty or forty seconds, and then put on some concealer on trouble spots and under my eyes, which takes longer with all the patting to blend it. My skin doesn't look completely perfect after, but definitely better with makeup than without it.
  9. Breal76, which formula did you get?
  10. I wasn't using mineral makeup with Bismuth Oxychloride--one brand was one that's never been mentioned here, the other brand was Lumiere. I'm really just wondering if the material of the brush itself could have been making me break out.
  11. Even using one gently and cleaning it often, could using my brush (animal hair) be breaking me out?
