  1. I started developing acne on my forehead due to multiple reasons. I was stressed and wasn't eating healthy. I picked on my acne a lot and caused dark spots on my forehead. I never had acne on my forehead before this period. I started using tretinoin cream 0.05% and along with clindamycin phosphate topic solutions 1%. I also went to have my whiteheads or closed comedones extracted. For my dark spot, I used Kiehl's clearly corrective dark spot solution. This is the result. I'm open to any question
  2. I honestly did not do much but I did pop a few of my whiteheads. I made sure I didn't leave a lot of scarring. Most of my closed comedones dried up and i got rid of them by exfoliating. I did have some irritation but it lasted for avout a week or so :) i tried 0.1% at the beginning ! I didn't have any problems but it made my face very very red and my acne became more noticeable. I went back to 0.025% after a few days. I think 0.1% is a little strong for my skin that's all. hope everything work
  3. I think once you start using tretinoin, the pigmentation will slowly start disappearing beginning from day 1. In my case it just took 3 months to really see the result :) not sure if hyperpigmentation fades away but I think once tretinoin exfoliates your skin, your hyperpigmentation can greatly be reduced, leaving you with new, fresh skin. I use the Clindamycin Phosphate 0.1% topical solution and take doxycyline hyclate antibiotics 100mg 2 times/day. I use Neutrogena clear pore toner here and t
  4. i did have initial breakout :) The first two weeks wasn't so bad but on my third week my face started breaking out very badly as you could see in some of the pictures above. I also broke out in random places that I normally would never break out there. It lasted about 2 months for me. I started noticing "clear spots" on my face on the 3rd month. Those "clear spots" progressively spread to the rest of my face throughout the month and eventually my whole cheek became clear ;)
  5. hey there :) I used the tretinoin cream 0.025% and apply it every night. I was prescriped by my derm and have never used the gel before. Hope that helps :)

  7. Hey friend. You've come to the right person for this :) I'm a big tretinoin user. I used for my severe closed comedones. First week I thought I wouldn't break out because my face was just really dry and some scars were fading. But.No. I developed a horrible horrible breakout 2nd week of using it. It was bad. My face was oily and filled with all kinds of acne. I also had pimples in places I normally wouldn't break out. Anwyays, I assume your dermatologist has already told you that tretinoin brea
  8. When I had my first severe acne, I couldn't look at myself in the mirror. I hated places with bright lights and I would only look into the mirror with the lights off. I stopped wearing nice clothes and only wore black. I felt like I was so ugly and I didn't deserve my pretty clothes I bought before the acne. I was terrified of wearing bright colors like pink ,yellow and especially white. I've been depressed, stressed and sometimes I just wanted to hide in the house. I couldn't wear makeup becaus
  9. When I first started having acne at the beginning of my junior year in high school, my face was really really bad. I'm a girl so it takes a lot for me to cope with it. I used to refuse not to look at myself in the mirror. I wouldn't turn the lights all the way on and instead just applying makeup in the dark. By saying "applying makeup" I meant just putting chapstick and mascara. I had oily skin and every foundation I have tried broke me out. Makeup is the reason why I had my severe closed comedo
  10. Hello. I am currently using Obagi tretinoin cream 0.1%. I have been using for a week now and this is how things are going so far Before trying out this product, I have managed to clear 70% of my severe closed comedones. I only have a few left on my cheeks and jawlines. I decided to try out this cream because I heard it's very good to clear closed comedones and it peels your skin to get rid of acne scars and hyperpigmentation. However, I have noticed it irritated my skin over night and I woke u
  11. Hello everyone. I'm a 16-year-old girl who suffers from whiteheads. I used to have decent skin before I turned 15. I started wearing heavy foundation when I was 14 and it was the worst decision I have ever made in my whole entire life. I started to develope oily skin due to hormonal changes and ended up clogging all my pores with the foundation. I went from getting one or two pimples here and there on my period to having to deal with whiteheads all over my cheeks. I have all these whiteheads all
