  2. Hello, I am 17 and I have been on 20mg of accutane a day for 6 weeks now. My dermatologist said to come in after 6 weeks to check on my progress and see about increasing my dosage. I am 17 and have had acne since I was about 15. recently it started getting quite bad. I had tried many options including basically all the over the counter medicine, 2 different types of anti-biotic, massive diet change and differin.
