  1. Day 3 Took my second 40mg pill today, only update would be the arrival of two deep and inflamed smaller cysts. They already seem to be moving to the surface and shrinking within 24 hours so that is nice I guess. Hoping to start seeing signs that the medicine is doing its job.
  2. Yeah it was kinda strange... I too am anxious to see how taking it every other day works, personally I am hoping for less side effects.
  3. Sorry for the delay, meant to reply sooner. I am currently taking 40mg of Amnesteem every other day. I intended to take 20mg daily, but some insurance and cost issues only allowed the purchase of 40mg tablets.
  4. Hey! We started our journey on the same day! I wish you the best in all endeavors and I hope we can see progress together!
  5. Hello, thanks for reading my log. Before I start my journey, here is a little bit about my situation... I am 17 years old with a combination of moderate cystic and inflamed acne. I have dealt with this for quite some time now, and have tried just about every diet alteration/natural remedy in the book. Although I am a health freak, I decided on March 1st, 2016, that I would begin taking Accutane. I am doing this for the betterment of my communication and social skills, as I am going into the po
  6. Thanks for the advice... sorry to hear about the rashes. Aside from the rash has 20mg a day kept you clear/cleared you up nicely?
  7. Thanks for the reply, much appreciated. I'm sorry to hear about your poor experience with the side effects. Based off of your experience, do you think that my skin would improve with 60ish mg a week for a while without the potential for lingering side effects? Were you still able to clear up even after the dosage increase? Thanks for the help.
  8. Hello, all thanks for taking to time to read this! :) I am a 17 year old male weighing in around 125 pounds. I have struggled with acne since 8th grade, and really haven't been able to shake it since. I currently have mpderate PERSISTANT acne with around 4-5 cysts and that whole sitiation has stayed the same for quite some time now. I've taken antibiotics and various prescription washes and topicals, and have spent the last year or so using only organic and natural remedies. My diet is immacula
  9. Good luck, I wish you the best! I really hope it turns out being the best decision for you and I'm sure you will find success! I too may start an Accutane treatment soon, hopefully at a low dosage as I am a lightweight.
  10. Hello all, hope you are doing well! I have been using the same facial cleanser for about a year now and am looking to make a change. I feel as if the wash is not as effective as it used to be. I purchased two products, but I am not sure as to how I introduce them into my routine. Should I temper each product into the regimen over time, or just abruptly add them in? Any help is appreciated, thanks!
  11. YES yes yes and yes I had the same experience. I cleared my skin months ago with diet, and I wrote a lot about it on this forum, also why it works. But unfortunately it is kind of hard to convince people acne is insulin resistance, or pre pre type 2 diabetes. A diet high in fat promotes insulin sensitivity and thus cleares acne. My diet today eg. consisted of 2200 kcal. 60% fat (147 grams) 16% carbohydrates (90 g.) 20% protein (112 g) that is a lot of meat and a lot of fat, mostly pa

  13. Hey! Haven't seen many posts about music and acne! What songs/artists do you listen to to help calm you down or help you through a bad acne day? Right now I'm really digging "Complexion" by Kendrick Lamar, as it offers an alternate perspective on the significance of your complexion in that it really doesn't matter. It all comes down to who you are and what you do for yourself and others! What do you listen to?
  14. Those kinds of moments in regards to someone seeing my face and their reaction to it for the first time are the moments that I can really filter out who truly likes me or not. If someone judges me for my facial complexion even if they are family, it is something I will not stand for nor will I let it slide of they make it obvious that they are judging me. But I'm sure you will look beautiful either way though, the way I see it is that there is beauty in everything regardless of any circumstances
  15. Your input is much appreciated and I will begin to add more healthy fats into my diet ASAP. Do you think a good start at implementing healthier fats into my diet would be to eat an avacado every morning and tuna at night? Thanks Avocado and tuna are a good start. The key is having the right ratio of fat, protein, carbs, and fiber at each meal. If you are consuming mainly carbs one meal and mainly fat another meal, and mainly protein another meal then it wont be as

  17. I am starting so think similarly to you in that assessment. Do you have any reccomemded products that are semi natural, semi gentle and could maybe help me out? Thanks Thanks a lot for the advice and help! I have tried numerous switch ups in my diet, including the addition of higher fat foods. I eat lots of almonds, cashews, walnuts, fattier meats on occasion and higher fat oils. Did you see an improvement in overall skin condition when you stepped a little outside of clean eating? Like mor
  18. Hey! Diamond here, I'm a new user. Here's a little background of me. I'm a male, 17 years old, about 5 foot 10, weigh 129 and have had pesty acne since 8th grade. Before I ask for any help, let me give you a quick rundown of my skin care routine and diet. In the morning, I wash with a Christina Moss Naturals organic face wash and follow that up with an aloe vera based organic and non comedogenic mouisturizer. I don't wash again until I get home from school, and only with water. I follow the ri
