Why can I clear my skin by only eating a few things?
AJM00001 replied to Crispello's topic in Diet & holistic health
I have an opinion. Because if I eat the wrong foods, I will have a bunch of whiteheads in a less than two hours. So I believe the cause is bacteria in the small intestine. I believe it is the wrong bacteria in the small intestine that is sending a signal, and the immune system responds. Unfortunately, the immune response is to cause the skin on the face to start feeding the bacteria that lives on the face. Which results in acne. That is why killing bacteria on the face does not stop new ac -

Gluten-free diet - it gets worse before it gets better?

Some of the foods you are eating right now cause me acne: tomatoes, oranges, rice, chicken, eggs (eggs are very bad). Suggest you test each food item one at a time to determine the foods that cause you acne. -
I think beans are one of my main causes

You should not follow the list of foods that cause me acne. You have to determine the foods that cause you acne. Suggest you do what competent Doctors and Dermatologists have recommended for decades. (I am an old guy). Pick a food you want to test. Do not eat that food for two or three weeks. Then eat a lot of the food you are testing each day for four days. You will know if that food causes acne. This is a slow test, as you can only test one food item at a time. You need to do th

The recommended links only describe in vitro tests. Therefore, until tests are performed on humans, we do not know if dietary addition of Pomegranate will affect acne.

Thank you for your contribution. -
I am adding the following links if anyone is looking for supplements or to test for gluten sensitivity. Gluten sensitivity testing. Not the blood test which is notoriously inaccurate. This is a Government certified testing lab. https://www.enterolab.com/ Supplement testing. Consumer Lab tests supplements, and it is a pay site. http://www.consumerlab.com/

HELP! In desperate need of help with cheek acne!
AJM00001 replied to Marxnovia's topic in Diet & holistic health
If you are correct that your acne is diet related, then you need to test all the foods you eat. I had to test my diet as nothing else was effective. http://www.acne.org/messageboard/topic/353197-food-that-causes-acne/ These are the foods to which I am sensitive. You may not be sensitive to any of them. Suggest you do what competent Doctors and Dermatologists have recommended for decades. (I am an old guy). Pick a food you want to test. You may or may not be sensitive to quinoa. Personally I am not sensitive to quinoa as I tested myself: http://www.acne.org/messageboard/topic/353197-food-that-causes-acne/ Suggest you do what competent Doctors and Dermatologists have recommended for decades. This is the unhelpful information on acne: ESNEY3: "No one has ever been cured of acne by removing carbohydrates from their diet, or sugar." Yeah right This response is nonsense. The science quoted never says anyone is cured of acne. It only says that acne was improved. Great; Zinc, Vitamin A, Selenium, probiotics, prebiotics, etc. have been shown to improve acne. They do not cure acne as they do not cause acne. Everyone needs calories and carbohydrates. If you are eating too many calo

Do not fall for the so called science. No one has ever been cured of acne by removing carbohydrates from their diet, or sugar. You are probably sensitive to something you are eating. Could be food, could be fluoride in the water. I am sensitive to many foods. http://www.acne.org/messageboard/topic/353197-food-that-causes-acne/ For example, many people are sensitive to red meat and some fish, as am I. So do not believe any diet will fix your problem. You need to test foods, one at a time.

Soy causes very bad acne for me. FYI: I have made this comment in another post. Do what competent Doctors and Dermatologists have recommended for decades. (I am an old guy). Pick a food you want to test. Do not eat that food for two or three weeks. Then eat a lot of the food you are testing for four days. You will know if that food causes acne. This is a slow test, as you can only test one item at a time. In your case, do not eat any food with soy in it for a couple of weeks, then eat a

How do you know it is sugar? Milk, cocoa, hazelnuts, and soy are all know to cause acne. The main ingredients of Nutella are sugar and palm oil,[9] followed by hazelnut, cocoa solids, and skimmed milk. In the United States, Nutella contains soy products. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutella
