  1. Hi, I have brown spots and am trying to fade them. I am a medium/dark skinned indian. The hyperpigmentation is mostly from acne but I have a couple pigmented, shallow scars on my nose from years of wearing glasses and I'd especially like to fade those ones. They were induced by long term skin contact and not acne related pigmentation, so I don't know if there is a solution for that. Retin A, hydroquinone, and kgoic acid have not seemed to help on the spots on my nose or my other normal ones. I
  2. Day 15 The new camera came in today and I think it takes much better face pics, so you can really see how the scars look in real life now (The day 6 pics were not as good) http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f74/alpha13og5/day151.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f74/alpha13og5/day152.jpg Overall from the last update I would say the scars have gotten slightly worse. Just slightly though, and I'm not too nervous because it was expected that they would get worse before they got better. Hopefu
  3. Thanks smoothe. I am without a camera right now (I had to give mine to my dad for his work) Another one is in the mail so I can post another update shortly. imjayhawk, if you haven't had the scabs yet (its been about 3 days I assume) then something is probably wrong. You should email perfectcomplexion and tell them your result. Maybe its a bad kit and they'll send you another one.
  4. Today on day 6 I woke up to find that both of the remaining scabs have fallen off. http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f74/alpha13og5/day42.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f74/alpha13og5/Day62.jpg These 2 did not get the immediate fix that the first one to lose the scab got (you can see from the pics that the first one is barely visible now) They look essentially how they did before. I'm still pretty happy with this though. I've read that the scabs are *supposed* to look worse than befo
  5. Day 4 I wake up and see myself in the mirror to find that one of the scabs has fallen off. First reaction is nervousness because I used 100% TCA and I've read the scabs that come from this are "supposed" to stay on for 1-2 weeks. I check myself and am quite pleased with the results so far. http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f74/alph...g5/crossd21.jpg http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f74/alph...g5/crossd22.jpg The depth of the scar is much less noticeable already. I was told it would get wor
  6. Thanks guys! Sorry, I did actually clean off the area with an alcohol wipe. It burned and not in a good way... it felt like a "chemical" burn. I've used alcohol wipes on my hands before and never had this so it unnerved me a bit, I honestly don't want to use them on my face again (and it's not in the instructions I got anyways) I think a wash with soap and water is good enough to clean the area. Scabs still look the same today. When I read other people's threads I thought the scabs were deli
  7. I don't know, my kit came with a neutralizing solution and instructed me to use it after 10 seconds. Was your TCA 100% like mine?

  9. Hi all, I've had some ice pick scars that I've wanted to get rid of and decided on the TCA CROSS method because it seems to have the best results for ice pick scars and is also very cheap and easy to do (my kit for 100% TCA was $55) Yesterday I applied my first treatment. I followed the instructions that were in the kit, which said to clean my face off with soap and water and then lightly dip the wooden applicator (a big toothpick) with the TCA. I applied it from one side of the scar to the ot
  10. I have a "TCA CROSS" kit coming in the mail. From what I've read it sounds like the miracle cure for any type of indented scar. Cheap too! (don't use a doc)
  11. Well guys I've decided to try to do TCA CROSS at home. Can someone point me to a good 100% TCA CROSS kit? Thanks!
  12. I'm seeing a doctor for a consult about some flat moles I want lasered away. Any last minute advice? They said I'd get a discount if I did the operation the same day so I'm not sure if should go for that or not right away (I don't like beiong pressured but I guess the discount might make it worth it?)
  13. Thanks. Unfortunattely my flat moles do look rather bad on my face (some of them at least. A few others are no big deal and I will leave alone) The small crater went away right? And is your skin fairly light? Mine is fairly dark (I'm a dark skinned indian) Thanks!
