  1. Great product!!

I didn't try these stridex salicylic acid pads for years because I thought they were drugstore crap. But, boy was I wrong! Don't be fooled because they are cheap. They have 2% salicylic acid at the right ph for maximum exfoliation & the perfect amount of oil control, without drying out your skin, as they are alcohol free. So glad I found them, and you should try them too! You will not be dissappointed.
  2. Hello lioness101, You poor thing! I am 46 years old and still battle with crazy oily skin and blackheads across my nose and chin with the occasional breakout, but it sounds like yours is significantly worse!! I can't imagine how stressful that is. I hate that you had to resort to Accutane. I know your acne is worse than mine, and you have probably tried every topical treatment known to man. But, until I tried Dan's regimen, my skin looked awful. It has REALLY improved my skin a lot!! Even
  3. Guess I'm the Mama here! I just turned 46
  4. Best Mineral Powder Makeup ever!

I have tried so many mineral powders - Pur minerals, Bare Essentials (Bare Minerals) - broke me out like CRAZY, Bobbi Brown, and Jane Iredale. Everyday Minerals is by far the best! I use the Matte formula. It offers medium coverage, a natural looking matte finish, but not a flat unnatural finish. Has pretty good staying power...better with a primer. Only has a few ingredients, so never breaks me out or clogs my pores. I have been using this foundation for years and will continue to use it for
  5. I personally use AHA and BHA together. I absolutely have to. It's the only combination that works for my large pores and blackheads in my t-zone. I use Dan's 10% AHA at night, and Ninja Skincare's Salicylic (BHA) in the morning. It serves as an excellent primer for my Everyday Minerals powder foundation. It is the only foundation that doesn't break me out. It only has 3 ingredients. Completely hypoallergenic, non-comodogenic, fragrance free & never tested on animals. Also, I exfoliate at l
  6. Love this foundation

This is the lightest foundation I have ever used. It has a thin liquid texture, but has good pigment. Coverage is sheer to medium, depending on application. It is buildable. I have an oily T-zone and normal cheeks. This has never broken me out. I will continue using this as long as Shiseido makes it :)
  7. Buy Dan's acne.org regimen and USE IT religiously! Exactly as his instructions say.
  8. Buy Dan's regimen and use it exactly as his instructions say, and be patient! It WILL work! My skin looked just like yours. Greasy, bumpy, blackhead ridden. Hated it
  9. I agree with CP. I like a lightweight, non-greasy, emollient moisturizer too. I use Dan's moisturizer mixed with his jojoba oil in the evening and I love it. For daytime, I love Dermadoctor Ain't Misbehaving Spf 30. It is so moisturizing and soaks into my combination skin quickly with no residue at all. Also doesn't break my acne prone skin out.
  10. Wow jackiwoj. You are dealing with some seriously sensitive skin :( If you went straight from the Persagel to Dan's regimen, that could be part of your sensitivity. Sounds like the Persagel had your skin very irritated. You may need to give your skin a break for a week or two, THEN start the acne.org regimen.

    Works!

    Works!

This is a review of the acne.org regimen INCLUDING the AHA moisturizer. I am 44 yrs old. I have struggled with non-inflammatory acne (blackheads & whiteheads) since I was 16. I also have anti aging concerns as well - i.e. fine lines, uneven skin tone and texture. I was exhausted trying to combat BOTH of my skincare issues effectively! Enter acne.org. I had serious reservations using BPO on my 44 yr old skin as I "heard" it would kill healthy skin cells along with acne causing b
  12. I suggest if you really want to try to clear your face, you should use only the products that are specifically included with the regimen. Persagel has 10% bpo. That is extremely irritating! In my experience, a generous amount of 2.5% or a max of 5% is sufficient :) Good luck!
  13. Hi jackiwoj, What is your skin care routine? Cleanser, toner, moisturizer... etc. Amy
  14. Definitely works!

Burns like a mother, but works like a CHARM! Would have given it 5 stars if it didn't burn so badly!! Edit on 3/19/16: This does not burn my skin AT ALL anymore. When I first started using this I did not wait the full month, like Dan recommends. I now have been using the regimen for 4 months and I use the AHA moisturizer every other night and it doesn't burn at all. Just a very mild tingle. Still highly recommend this!! The longer I use it the better my skin looks :)
  15. I've tried retin a, Dan's bpo and a very strong 5% salicylic acid. I think sometimes your skin just needs a break! My skin improved a lot when I give it a break for a few weeks. I just use Cerave foaming face cleanser for oily skin and witch hazel toner. Nothing else. Try giving your skin a break
  16. Yep. November and April are the 2 worst months for me. I think in November it's the decrease in humidity, and vice versa, in April it's the increase. Frustrating!
  17. Yes. Use it on your whole face. I have tried the 0.05% gel for several months. Stopped it a week ago & started back on my Lumiplexion regimen. My skin has improved 90%. I hated tretinoin!
  18. Looks like an allergic reaction OR an infection! Maybe both I'm an RN, so I've seen a good bit of allergic reactions. Whatever that "Spa" used on your face was not hypoallergenic. Plus, the utensils they used could have been unsterile. You seriously may have both things going on. I would go to the drugstore TODAY and get yourself some benadryl cream, as well as taking some benadryl liquid or pills by mouth, then make an appointment with a good Dermatologist tomorrow!! Put nothing else on tha
  19. Hello all, I curently use Tretinoin 0.05% gel at night after I wash my face and let it dry for 15 minutes. It's working "ok" but not controlling my oil AT ALL. I get super oily during the day and my blackheads are not getting any better. I am wondering if I can use my acne.org 2.5% benzoyl peroxide in the morning to help control my daytime oiliness, or will the combination be too harsh for my skin? I am 44yrs old and worry about the bpo aging my skin, as I've read online that bpo can acceler
  20. Sorry but I must disagree on the cleaning issue. Cleansing is not only to remove make up or other things applied to your face, it's also necessary to remove dirt and oil that has accumulated from the environment as well as excess sebum your skin has produced throughout the day and night. Daily cleansing, twice a day is key. I agree 100% on everything else! Your skin is dry and/or flakey on top and oily underneath because you are not exfoliating and moisturizing. Both are very important twice a d
  21. Works like a dream

I mix 1/2 and 1/2 Braggs ACV and witch hazel and use morning and night after cleansing. It has decreased inflammation and controls my oily T-zone without over-drying. Love it :)
  22. Why is it that when I look at the reviews of products, I like to look at the ingredients to see if any of them are highlighted to let us all know they are non-comodogenic for acne sufferers. Now, when I look up product ingredients they are no longer highlighted and I have to look at my printed list of acne causing ingredients to compare & figure out which ones are bad. It's a real pain! Why did you change that feature about your website? It really stinks!!
  23. Nice, natural looking foundation

I like this foundation so much better than the Original formula! Does not have the "sheen" that the original has. Light to medium coverage. Stays put about 8 hours before it starts to wear off and need a touch up. Does not break me out. Best for oily skin.
