  1. I got a newsletter in my email today that Aubrey Nicole is having a 20% off sale on all their products. Pretty good deals. the website is aubreynicole.com While on the subject, they are selling a new oil cleanser! Has anyone tried that kind of thing? I really want to and I've heard it's great and doesn't break you out, but I'm a bit hesitant because when I do break out it takes me like 2 weeks to get back to cleared up. I may just go ahead and order and try it a few times and see. Any
  2. I know they are closed on a spring break right now. You should try again this week. Supposed to open back up on Tuesday, I think.
  3. I just read on MUT that Aubrey Nicole now has mineral lipstick now and they look very nice. They are having a free shipping sale for the next 2 weeks and I really want to get some of these. Has anyone tried mineral lipstick before? Does it stay as long or feel the same as regular lipstick? Tempting! I really don't think I can pass up a free shipping sale anyway!
  4. I like the mousse makeup too. It's nice and thick, but doesn't go on thick. I think it thins way out when it goes on the skin. Very nice.
  5. I use the AN gel primer and have been using it for about a year. I use it mostly on my nose where my pores are enlarged. It helps ALOT! Then I use a flocked sponge to apply my makeup to my nose and it makes my pores literally disappear. And I'm really proned to breakouts and this primer has not caused any, unlike some others I've tried. I first tried Aloe gel recommended here on acne.org and immediately got a cyst on my nose. This primer is my favorite.
  6. I am really interested in trying the mousse mineral makeup now. GroceryGirl does it have decent coverage? I wouldn't mind using a liquid makeup again to avoid all the mess with the minerals, but I want something natural and to get away from the chemicals. The AN mousse makeup sounds great. How did the shade match up to the loose powder that you normally use from them? Should I get the same shade that I usually use? Thanks,
  7. Thanks for the info. I placed an order on 11/23 and received it in about 4 or 5 days, so I guess I was lucky that it wasn't part of the shipment that got lost. It's awesome that they are sending out replacement packages quickly, they have great customer service.
  8. Here is the list of ingredients for e.l.f. mineral makeup. Assumed it would have not such great ingredients in it for such a low price. Contains Bismuth and Carmine - ugh. Also Tocopheryl Acetate, Caprylyl Glycol, whatever those are... Email from e.l.f. customer service: All of our natural mineral makeup is 100% mineral based with no parabens, no preservatives and no chemical dyes. The ingredients are as follows: Mineral Foundation: Active Ingredients: Mica, Bismuth Oxychloride, Titanium D
  9. I've heard good things about the products but not so good about the shipping time and the store. On the site it says that it takes 12-18 days to process orders and people on MUT complain that it takes weeks to get their orders, longer if overseas. 12-18 days seems crazy! Also they seem to close down a lot if they get overwhelmed and your left hanging waiting for them to reopen to get your order. Hope yours comes faster than that.
  10. I did Lasik in Nov 2004 and it was the best money I ever spent. My eyes were BAD! over 7.5 in one eye and almost 8.5 in the other. I also had an astigmatism in my right eye and it is gone. Perfect vision the day after and after two weeks, I finally stop reaching to take out my contacts at night. Simply the best thing (besides my kids) that I have ever done for myself. You will not be sorry that you did this. Find a well respected, popular doctor in your area and follow the instructions
  11. Oh I agree, AN has much better coverage. Glad you found a match though!!
  12. OK, so I did this and love it, BUT I used the beads/stones rather than the vase filler and you can't just push the brushes down in it very easily. I am going to get some vase filler tomorrow because this is a great idea and looks really nice on my vanity.
  13. I have the AN brush and it's great. There has been a lot of talk about the baby brush technique lately and I have small kids and this is extremely close to the softness of the brushes that they used as babies. I love washing my face with this because it's soft and doesn't irritate my skin, but has just enough ummmph to remove my makeup.
  14. Do you think that AN soft coverage has better coverage then SM? I´ve orded full coverage...maybe it gives to much coverage then?
  15. yeah I know a lot of people aren't happy with SM's coverage. I don't have much to compare to though, since this is the first color that works for me. I tried EM but all the colors I tried were way off so the whole time all I could think of was "OMG it looks horrible, take it off, take it off!!" Which is why I'm excited abt tring AN, people say it applies smooth like SM but better coverage. And I know AN is what you use gigglebox. Not that I've been online-stalking you I've just done some sear
