  1. One of my thyroid levels is high and the other is low. Could that be the cause of a hormonal imbalance ending up with hormonal acne?
  2. I had a large cyst right next to my eye 3 years ago and have been left with this hole-like mark ever since. I go to the dermatologist but she doesn't do anything about it because she feels that I am too young to get it removed. Any idea on how to get rid of it?
  3. I have very bad acne mainly on my forehead and it has been this way since I was about 11 years old (I'm 16). I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism when I was 7 and from that point on I developed a few pimples every now and then. Then when I was 14 I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease as well and my acne has gotten worse. I eat a healthy gluten free and dairy free diet, get enough sleep, drink lots of water, and exercise regularly so the only thing I can guess it is caused by is the thyroid pro
  4. How's your spot now 2 months have passed ?

  5. My skin has been really good lately and I haven't been dealing with many problems with it for a while but on Wednesday night I looked in the mirror and noticed that there was a spot on my chin that was red,no bump, just spot. Then I moved my chin up a little bit and found that I have a HUGE bump. I'm guessing it's under the skin maybe? All you can see when I don't move my chin up is redness. I'm so confused as to how I got this,I wash my face with a gentle cleanser twice a day, wash my hands whene
  6. I have tried lots of different exfoliators throughout the years but I had never heard of BHA or AHA. I have been on a small amount of retin A before but since I also have sensitive skin it can be difficult to use without making my face turn red.
  7. I have had these blackheads on my forehead and nose for YEARS. I have tried everything to get rid of them, and I go to a dermatologist but nothing ever works to get them to go away. I am vegan and don't eat gluten so I eat a healthy diet, drink lots of water, wash my face daily and use the creams the derm gives me for them but nothing ever works. It can be a little hard to tell in the forehead pictures but if you look closely you can see the black dots all over the place. What can I do?
  8. My forehead is exactly like this. I'm 15 and have had acne since I was ten. Mine is caused by an auto immune disease I have called hypothyroidism, because of it my body doesn't produce enough hormones making me hormones always out of whack. I don't know if this was helpful at all,but since it's just like mine maybe it's hormonal. It really sucks having acne but something that has helped me has been a clay mask called "queen Helene mint julep mask" it dries out the pimples and makes my skin WAY be
