  1. I started using Azelaic Acid (Skinoren) about a week ago, and my skin seems to be purging in a major way. I was on Accutane a few years ago and experienced pretty much the same thing, so I'm hoping for the best. I will give the Skinoren about a month or so before I give up and just remove the skin from my face!

  3. Oh well...I just ordered it yesterday to see if it would work or not. Wish I had seen this thread first! :-s I've tried just about everything else and the only thing that really worked for me was Accutane. However, right now I don't have medical benefits and can't afford to go to a dermatologist let alone buy the Accutane outright.
  4. Hi all! I'm brandy-new to this board (please note post count). Anyway, I'm 33 and have the skin of a teenager, which completely and utterly sucks. And ya know, if I got the occasional pimple here and there, I suppose it wouldn't be so bad. But I get little pimples, big pimples, here, there, and everywhere. And I'm sick of them. I've been to a dermatologist, and was on a 6-month course of Accutane a few years back because my skin didn't respond to any other prescriptions... Benzamyacin:
