  1. I think skin needling would do wonders for your skin. When you needle, it damages your skin. The old dead skin breaks away and new skin regrows and can heal scars. For me, skin needling has been more effective than lazer. Subcision may help reduce a lot of your depressed scars but you will need a few treatments to see any results as it takes a very long time to work. It's also quite expensive. It's about $1000 AU per treatment. Not cheap.
  2. Hello, I have had lazer but I have found I have had the best results by needling. I started off with a 1.5mm and then moved onto 2.0mm. I was quite brutal with my rolling and my face looked horrible and I bled a lot but the results speak for themselves. The more damage you do, the better the results. I use to needle every month and did so for about a year. I then stopped needling all together and a year later, I can see a massive difference in my face. Yes it took that long to see improvemen
  3. the 5th subscision was the worst due to how brutal it was. the local anaesthetic used on my face kinda knocked me around and made me shake and cry (i wasn't in pain) but i felt it was my body saying it had enough and i should stop. i left my face for about a month or 2 before i had fillers. the fillers lasted for a very long time and it wasnt until i had laser that they disappeared. the fillers did not hurt to get and they filled a lot of my uneven areas. it wasnt perfect, but it wasnt bad eithe
  4. I saw improvement with my texture and tone from the lazer yes, but I got better results from needling as it seems to 'refresh' my skin everytime i use it. i love it. The laser made A LOT of my scars smaller and less noticeable. They are still on my face but very small. I can cover them with make up but I don't bother so I've learnt to live with my flaws. the co2 fractional laser was worth it but you need to prepare yourself because its very brutal. it was probably one of the worst experiences o
  5. i can confirm that needling over red marks doesn't make them worse. the red marks on my face have decreased over time from needling. im not a doctor or anything, this is from my personal experience.

  7. Sorry for my lack of updates! I have been really busy with life stuff. Since my last update (October 2013), I let my face settle down and did nothing for about 4 months after having laser again. In that time, it gave me time to reflect on everything I have done to my face and if I think its worth to continue with all of this. In January 2014 I was happy with my face but I felt I could be happier with it so I decided to try skin needling at home. I'm a pro active person and I feel good abou
  8. I am currently into Day 3 of getting another round of CO2, Herbal and fraxel laser. He also used my own blood this time to improve my results and healing time. Unlike last time, I was not knocked out. This time he used an anesthetic cream on my face which numbed it. This did numb it but I wouldn't say very well. The procedure was very very painful and I would recommend at least having some local anesthetic injected into your face before getting this procedure done. I did not have any. It was
  9. hi guys. sorry for the lack of updates. been very busy. its almost been a year since i had my co2, frazel and herbal lazer. My face is still average but a lot better then when I started all of this. im about to get another co2, frazel and herbal lazer done again on my problem areas (cheeks and forehead). This time however my doctor will be using some of my blood at the same time which he says will give me even better results. Quoted price is: $2050 AU I have uploaded a photo in extr
  10. It's been about 6 weeks and the area that I had co2 laser on has completely vanished. Can I see an improvement? YES! HOWEVER The rest of my face is still improving from the whole face laser I got done last October. As my doctor said, you will see improvement over time. I had this procedure done over 8 months ago and I am still seeing improvements. I will not EVER get another co2 full laser done on my face again. I plan to do section by section now as its easier to manage (and a lot c
  11. @feds91 - Subcision is mainly for rolling scars. laser DOES NOT get rid of rolling scars as lasers need a smooth surface to work on. Rolling scars make your face unsmooth so its pointless doing laser until you have a even surface to work on. Subcision worked great on my scars (I had extreme rolling scars) and I got good results. Be prepared to wait a long time for results. I was expecting results straight away and it was heartbreaking after my first subcision to have all my scars come back, but
  12. Just a quick update with photos. I just had another DeepFX and Herbal laser on a little part of my face. The area was next to my eyes. I posted a few photos 2 hours after the procedure. It's still a bit painful but not too bad. He injected local anesthetic into the area and then used the laser. procedure took about 2 minutes.
  13. YES! a lot of my scars have vanished from the first laser. When I first got laser, they all vanished for a week but then all returned as my skin healed. within the next few months, a lot of them faded and vanished. A lot of the shallow scars are gone completely.
  14. I had skin just like this. Maybe worse and I would be too afraid to look in the mirror and to see the person looking back at me because it felt like I was very ugly and it felt like I had no hope. It got to the point where it was controlling me. I am a very outgoing person but this 'problem' was holding me back. I also had people stop talking to me and people use me because I was 'ugly' so they didn't care. (yes it was that bad) Your skin is very much like mine. We are both very white and i alw
