  1. Sorry peeps. Havent been coming on the net that much lately.

Glad it has worked for some of youz :)

My skin is just getting better and better, nothing to complain about apart from wishing the pink marks would fade quicker! lol. I'll have new pics posted up here and in my gallery some time this week

    xo

  2. Hmm, i quite like the sun! i tan as much as i can, and my red marks were terribly red. For those of u who dont know and havent seen my Gallery, i went on a two week holiday and was at the beach everyday, the salt water helped, but it was the combination of sun exposure as well (i believe)! My face and body were fairly burnt over the first week there and i was extremely paranoid that my marks would stay or turn brown... but they didnt. Ive continued to expose myself and red marks to the sun several time for 1-2hrs (no hat, no spf) crazy u might think!! hehe.. i know.. but all i saw was good results so i kept at it.

Posted updates of my skin tonight if ya wanna check it out.. there is one there with four pictures of me (left and right side before my holiday... as well as left and right side after the holiday), quite an improvement.......

    goodluck nevertheless

  3. Ahh what the heck!! i took snaps off my phone just now hehe...

turned on all the lights in the bathroom to get clear view of both cheeks. If u look close enuff u can see the scarring (swelling has went down under the red marks which makes the scar apparent) ahh well.. better than red spots ey! Let me know what yas think please :) ta

  4. Hey all. wow havent been here for a good month!!

How is everyone? Ive been going through some rough patches with the other half, been a bit stressed out and had no time to pop on here. (thankgod the stress didnt make me break out)!

Ok well.. last time i posted i said i was taking roaccutane on and off... well i started taking it properly (40mg a day) for a week or so, then i stopped and havent taken a pill over 2 weeks now. My prescription repeat allows me 1 more box so overall i have 1 and a half boxes to go through. Havent been derm in agesss! thats because i have no inquiries and i havent been taking it correctly, soo.....

As for my red marks, i can gladly say theyre slowly getting better n better. By that i mean the red/pinkness is fading in time. HOWEVER... as theyre fading i noticed i could see scarring depending on what angle the light is shining on me. I can see slight dents in my skin (nothing like "icepick scars") ill sort them out in a few months.

Still havent had an active pimple since... i dont even remember! but im scared in a years time theyll all come back =/

Anyway... new pic will be posted soonish for ur viewing, when i find the time :) untill then everyone take care!!

    xox

  5. goo tooo thee beeaachh! hehehe

dont be embarrassed i had/have redmarks and slight scarring on my face, and i was at the beach for 2 weeks, it did wonders for me, i reckon if i never went my marks would be still really darkk!

trust me, noone will stare how u think they will... dont think anyone would period! your back isnt that bad ive seen soo much worse this is like minor and im not just saying that. To me it looks more like u have freckles/light moles

jus go to the friggen beach aiight! hahaha :) goodluck

  6. Can i buy Desitin over the counter?? Is it safe to use while on tane??

Ive only got Aloe Vera GEL.. gel just makes it more stiff :S

Luckily my face aint tanned cause i have a scab fading on my arm and its left a white long mark under it, grrrrrrr

    x fingers!

    THANX

Desitin is over the counter, and yes I used it while on tane. It's perfectly safe. Desitin will be in the babie's section.

  7. OUCH! you poor thing! That sounds painful.

Once the beautician used wax that was too hot on mine and it burned my skin. I even scabbed on one eye. The good news is that it did not leave any permanent damage.

I'd try aloe vera and ice to help with the swelling and redness.

Your eyebrows are ROCKIN! She did a great job on them ;)

hehe thanks! they look much better than they were before! But id give anything to go back and NOT do it ..grr

So you waxed your eyebrows while on tane too ha?? How long did it take to scab up and how long did the scab go away and skin was back to normal??

Cause in the picture, where ever u see Red, its stiff and sore.

Might be too late for ice since i did it 2 days ago  IM SUCH A FOOL

  9. Ahh thats a shame j0n! Guess it varies on skin types.

Anywayyyyy apart from battling these left over red marks i haeve.... ive now made myself another problem!!!! :(

Stupid me went to get my eyebrows waxed and re-shaped. It didnt even occur to me i shouldnt be doing it cause i was just recently on Roaccutane. (apparently u have to wait 6 months to wax) ive been off it not even a month! ANYWAY, it stripped off my skin and im left with this stiff new skin that wrinkles up everytime i scrunch my face up. It feels almost as if it will scab...... and the beautician said it mightbut will be gone in a couple of days. Its been 3 days now and its just gotten darker and stiffer.... im worried once it scabs and the skin peels itself off i might be left with scarring where ever my skin was stripped... and its like ALL AROUND BOTH eyebrows!

    Check the picture out :(

Has anyone ever done this before? any advice?

  10. I KNOW it was a stupid thing to do!

But seriously it never occurred to me that i shouldnt be doing it. I guess i thought ive been off it for a month and it was OK (plus i really thought my skin was okay cause it wasnt dry) But boy was i wrong. When the beautician stripped the wax off my eyebrows it was SO painful and turned RED so quick! When she applied cream on it, it stung like CRAZY! When i sat up i saw a SIGN right infront of me saying - "Please notify staff if u are on any skin medication". I was so embarrassed to catch the bus home looking like i did

Anyway, can you guys pleaseee look at the photo that was taken lastnight and tell me if anyone knows when this will go away or whats the best thing to do? Has anyone waxed and had the same problem? Ive been applying all sorts of creams!

It looks and feels like its going to scab. Its so stiff that when i scrunch my face up i can see the stripped skin wrinkle up.

Do u think once this skin peels off or whatever that it will leave a scar or some kinda white mark?? im so scared a mark will be left permanantly!!!! now i have to worry bout red marks/scars and more possible scarring all around both my brows

    Help!

and dont anyone EVER do this

  12. Beach beach beach!!!!

Its been 7 weeks since i got back from my holiday (was at the beach everyday for 2 weeks), got a slight tan and when i got home i compared my skin to photos before the holiday and my skin looked sooo much better! But i realised it wasnt the tan (maybe a bit) but just the minerals in the water with combination of sun really helped - all natural! and 7 weeks later, my tan has pretty much faded and my red marks remain faded aswell.

If ya interested check out my Gallery.. OR thers a thread in here i started "Sea water helped me".. Lastnight i took a pic for people who were asking if my tan faded and red marks came back... its on that thread.

Its just scary putting sunless tanning lotion if ur sensitive to it and would break out =/

  13. Heyyy.... to the last two comments,

well guys, i personally think its the same. Its been around 7 weeks since my holiday.

But here is a photo i took RIGHT NOWjust for you to decide. I put the photo of my left side when i got back from holidays, and the picture where u see green toilet cleaner in the background is the one i took NOW (hehe).

Let me know what you all think....

Ps: I havent been taking Roaccutane for a month now, ive got 3 more boxes to go through which will make up a total of 7... i just can't be bothered anymore, although i should start taking them, cause i rekon 4 months on tane just isnt quite enough.

  14. Lexia..

Did you use any soap or facial cleanser while there(in a shower or just washing face)? Or did you just use the sea water?

    Hi!

I do use a certain cleanser and moisturiser which im probably going to stick to for a long time cause its never broken me out and its never made my face feel disgusting, yet its affordable- cheerin!

I use Neutrogena oil-free moisuriser (its a white and purple box/bottle) if u want me to find a photo of the bottle i will...

and the cleasner is Neutrogena Extra Gentle. Ive been using it since last yr july before i broke up pretty bad outa nowhere. I do this morning and night.... i only came in contact with sea water when in the water, never took some home with me.

Ps: HATE soap on my face and body yUK :P

  15. DONOT USE SOAP in these situations!! arrrghh u guys are soooo...... :P

havent u realised once soap is washed off it leaves that clean squeeky yucky feel??? bad when comes to shaving, ESP in that area hahaha! U need something thats got oils in it so when its washed off it still leaves that silky smooth moist feel. Best thing that pretty much everyone has in their bathroom is hair conditioner!!! trussst me. Apply and shave away.

    Soap.... pfffffft!

And whoever uses nothing just water god help u

    :)

  16. I just got my sea water in the mail. It's purified by filtering without heat and it's still cold in the bottle! IT was like $10 with shipping and everything for 32oz. I look forward to using it... so should I just rub it on my face for a few minutes?

Haha, my mom is PISSED that I PAID for sea water.

Hmm i dunno how u should use that but i can say at the beach i splashed water on my face and id rub in that foamy white salt on my face couple-a times. Let me know how it goes 4 u please!!

HAHAHAH shouldnt have told her :P

    ps- r u a female or male???
