  1. I agree with what everyone else said about exfoliation. But what I really wanted to say is that you seem hilarious. I love your attitude.
  2. I think by "bad blood" they mean the genes that make people more susceptible to acne. They don't mean the actual blood, just blood as in your blood line (i.e. the genes you got from your parents).
  3. Ah! Next time I need to restock I'll make him take me to the dollar store right by his house!
  4. So I finally started the CSR. My chin is breaking out a little more than usual from the BP but I'm sure that'll stop eventually. It's going well so far. Also, I did my first aspirin mask last night and I LOVE it. I made my soon to be boyfriend, Derek, drive me to Walgreens so I could buy some aspirin and he was like, "If you have a headache, we can stop by my apartment and get ibuprofen" and I was like, "NOOOO I NEEEED ASPIRIN!" like I'm a druggie or something. Anyway, thank all of you for your

  6. Aww thank you. You totally look like Angelina Jolie in your avatar...
  7. It's probably the shampoo. What I do is make sure that I wait to wash my face AFTER I rinse out shampoo and conditioner, that way I'm washing off any residue from the hair products. That works for me. On another note, I pin my bangs back at night when I sleep so oil from my hair/face doesn't collect on my forehead. That's the only clear part of my face!
  8. Yep! I'm taking the bus to Wal-mart/Target/somwhere in about an hour to pick it up, so all is well! :D
  9. Ooooh I know that now, from reading lots of info on this site. I bought it about a month and a half ago but I only use it when I have a particular nasty pimple. I'm taking the bus to get some 2.5% BP tomorrow, though. No worries. And thank you! Aww, thank you. I definitely have some self-confidence, thankfully, despite my acne. I know that most people probably don't notice it as much as I do, but it's just a hassle to get all made up in the morning just to go to class when other peop
  10. Hi, my name's Westie, I'm 20 years old and a junior in college. I've had acne since 4th grade (10 years). I've tried everything. All the OTC washes and treatments and ProActiv, plus Retin-A, minocycline, tetracycline, clindamycin, erythromycin...the list goes on and on. Oh, and I used to be on the pill and I now use NuvaRing (though I didn't get either for acne). None of it has worked. I really want Accutane but my mom can't afford to take me to a dermatologist. So, I figured I'd give this a try
