  1. I got my 2nd vbeam yesterday (Saturday). I will post photos next week.
  2. I love the Derminator. I don't use it for acne scarring but for stretchmarks. I have it all over my body. I didn't see improvement until the 10th month.
  3. Definitely! I use EltaMD UV Clear sunscreen. I really like it since it dries matte. I have really oily skin. And thank you!
  4. I like Dan's AHA+ lotion. I used it for 5-6 months and the brown marks on my chin faded away.
  5. Here is a summary of my consultationThe doctor did the push thing to test for blanching.Told me my marks were 'post-acne erythema' NOT post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Vbeam is better than IPL because it's more precise at targeting blood vessels. I should avoid exercise on the day of treatment and for 3 days after treatment.I need 3 Vbeam courses 5 weeks apart. Bought a package of 3 and got 20% off.Improvement is gradual & not immediate. It can take up to 4 weeks to see effects. Vbeam ex
  6. You too. Red marks are fucking annoying. I don't understand why they lasts so long. Mine takes up to 2 years to fade.
  7. No luck with Retin A (0.1%) It made my red marks worse so I stopped using it after 3 months. Topicals/peels had no effect. But here's an interesting thread on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/AsianBeauty/comments/3bfa25/so_which_ab_products_are_good_for_targeting_post/
  8. Going in for my consultation tomorrow. Not sure if I can have it done on the same day. I'm thinking 3 rounds of vbeam will rid of the marks for good. My shitty camera makes my skin look better than it really is.
  9. I think for red marks nothing really fixes it faster besides laser treatments.
  10. Only time and/or laser will fade PIE (red marks). Have you tried Sulfur for your breakouts? I can't tolerate BP among many other things, but I can use Sulfur without problems.
  11. Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been on top with the updates I've been busy with work and other things. I will be stopping my IPL treatment and getting Vbeam Perfecta for the remaining marks. I found a doctor who does it here and he charges $89 for spot treatments.
  12. Yes I have some shallow scarring that is only seen when the light hits my face in a certain angle. The redness made these shallow scar more noticeable to me. I realized that once the redness went away the 'pits' didn't look so bad. I honestly don't notice it unless I'm really looking for it. You may still be left with an indentation there, but it won't be that noticeable once the redness flattens and fades with time.
  13. It looks like you have PIH. If you can't get Hydroquinone then the second best topical would be products that have Kojic Acid, Alpha Arbutin, Glycolic Acid, etc. For myself I've had good results with Dan's AHA. It cleared up all of my brown marks.
  14. Just get vbeam or IPL. Consider it if your red marks are really affecting your well-being. Topicals take forever to work and they don't even give good results. I've been getting IPL and it has faded my red marks to 80%. I need two more treatments to fade them completely.
