  1. i went a couple days ago to the derm, and he agreed. he said it was from the cyst, and nothing to worry about. this may be myself driving myself crazy, but im still kind of worrying myself. i asked him to check out a hard little bump on my head that i had as well. as i lifted my hair up, he saw tiny red papuals(?) near the top of my forehead, somewhat close to the mole he later said it was, and said "oh you have some bumps there". but then saw where i had placed my finger on my head and put his
  2. oh alright, i feel a little better lol. anyone have any other input?
  3. Alrighty, so about 1 year and 8 months ago, i got this HUGE cyst that was visible above the skin, right about in between the collar bones. It went down quite quickly, but since then, iv had a little bump about where the cyst was. you cant see it, but if you feel the area, you can feel the bump. and if you stretch the skin, you can kinda see it. if you grab the area, it kinda feels like a BB or something. I dont believe it has gotten bigger, but im not positive if its gotten smaller. Im going t
  4. haha, its just an occasional/casual thing! and if you say thats how it starts, thats how i was able to keep it (maybe having 2 cigarettes per everytime I drink, about five times a week during the summer, maybe 3 cigarettes per week during school) previous to tane! plus its just different having the occasional cigar with some of the guys, compared to smoking cigarettes. but my question is, would you feel comfortable partaking if you were 10 months post-tane!?
  5. Alright, so I'm 10 months post tane. Before accutane, I used to smoke cigarettes or cigars socially with friends. However, I gave it up because I had heard of a study done that involved patients getting a supplement very similar to accutane, and smoking tobacco, and their risk for lung cancer doubled. I'm completely aware about the risks involved with smoking, but do you think I can smoke without this added risk? The accutane should be out of my system by now, right? Only because it's the o
  6. I know i posted this is another section, but i figured id post here too. so basically im 8 months post tane. When im in a bathroom with good lighting, my skin looks excellent. Dark marks arent very prominent, indents are not very noticeable, only a few skin colored bumps on my skin, and my skin looks 99% clear. It also FEELS smooth when i wash my face. However, when im in my school bathroom for example, my face doesnt look as good. Especially if i stand further back from the mirror or move m

It looks like theres a lot more oil on my face
  8. Alright, im almost 9 months post tane, and my skin is still holding up. I do however have a question. Last Feburary (1 year and 3 months ago), i got this really big cyst right in between my chest, and neck, right where the neck starts. It was a large cyst that was noticeable, and you could see it under my skin. It eventually went down, but now when i squeeze the thin, fleshy area of my neck where it was, theres a tiny bump. it has been slowly going down, but its just happened to catch my atten
  9. Hey, im 16, and im about 6 months post accutane. my skin is yet to break out really bad as it had in the past, and my old scars are healing. As opposed to being about 92% clear the day i finished, id say im about 98% clear. The only problem is my oil is coming back. On accutane, my skin would be matte allll day. thats not the case anymore. it sucks, because i feel better about my skin, but this oil is kinda killing my self-confidence, i think it makes my skin look worse, even though im probably
  10. Alright, 15, and Im 5 months post-tane, and so far the acne is not returning, its getting better actually lol. i get the occasional breakout, but whatever. But i do notice that by the end of my 8 hour school day, i have some oil on my face. probably not as bad as it was BEFORE tane, but i just dont want it to get back to that point again. Is there anything I can do/any advise that could be given? Should i use this Oil Control from Proactiv that seemed to work about 2 years ago?...
