  1. I am 4 months in on accutane and I was thinking of using it a couple times a week to spot treat a a slight rough (from a cyst scar) spot.
  2. I am wondering the same as well, I have a slight rolling and discolored scar on my cheek that I think it could help but I have 2.5 weeks left of tane and wondering if it will be alright if I use it now.
  3. That is exactly like what i have now. Did it go away after your course?
  4. I have almost completed my 4 month course of 80mg\day and my skin is almost completely clear. However, about a month and a half ago I got a large cyst on my upper cheek and the mark it has left is purpleish and dark ark that appears really bad under weak light and looks pretty bad. Under bright light it seems to blend in better but is noticeable. I have yet to see any improvement and I was wondering if anybody has experienced something similar or have any advice of how I can make it better. Th
  5. I've been taking it a little over a month now and I'm glad I did. My face, neck, and back are clearer and blackheads that I have had forever (got a couple in my ears) have washed right out. I am very pleased
  6. Have you tried phoning her? That's what I'd recommend you do first. See what she says.
  7. Well I started 80mg of accutane (I'm 6' 175 lbs) for my pretty much mild, but persistent facial and scarring neck acne, and moderate back and chest acne. My first month is coming up and I'm home from college and it snowed like 2 feet here so I can't drive to see my derm today before she goes on vacation. I take 40mg x2 daily and I have enough to take 1 per day until she gets back, is there anything I should worry about with a lower dosage for 2 weeks? I'm kind of concerned because my skin is mak
  8. Wow your story really hit home with me. I basically had the same thing happen to me with this girl I used to work with. I went out with her a couple of times, but I eventually got the "lets be friends deal." I was pretty bummed out for awhile (still kind of am) because I put so much thought and effort into it. I'm glad to see that you decided to move on. Don't dwell on it, somebody else will come along. Good luck
  9. I have been on tetracycline for one month, and switched to mino, which I have been on for 2 months now. My face is noticeably much less red and my breakouts are getting better, but I'm not sure if it is strong enough for my mild-moderate acne. I know that people have been on anitbiotics for years, but how long does it take to get clear?
  10. Anyone? thoughts about b5 and how much?
  11. Hello, I st5arted taking tetracycline a month ago and have recentloy switched to minocycline and duac as recommended by my derm. Are there any supplements like vitamin a or b5 that will also help with my oily skin? If so what do you recommend and how much? Thanks
