  1. Yes, masturbation is the cause of acne and I am sure it's Jesus's way of saying you have to stop doing that. He also said you can fix this my smearing a dead racoon dipped in apple cider vinegar on your face and on your dingdong. It has to be at full moon while listening to the latest Justin Bieber single backwards, and first then you will be cured.
  2. Latest in general acne research (fall 2015) Insulin and insulin-like growth factor-1 can modulate the phosphoinositide-3-kinase/Akt/FoxO1 pathway in SZ95 sebocytes in vitro. Mirdamadi Y et al. August 2015 A recent hypothesis suggests that a high glycaemic load diet-associated increase of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) and insulin may promote acne by reducing nuclear localization of the forkhead box-O1 (FoxO1) transcription factor via activati
  3. 13-cis-retinoic acid is a dht inhibitor. it is anti-androgenic. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3481923/
  4. Acne is one of the best things that ever happened to me. It made me figure out that the master regulator of acne is the same as in aging and a lot of diseases. DNA sample analysis showed me a steady decline in risk factors in some of those diseases after only one year in my cure.. @epigenetic I've spend 2 years figuring it all out, but I'm sure it's going to be one of the most rewarding thing I've ever done for myself. The human body is truly awwwesome!!
  5. Ok. So what I should have written was, from a scientific perspective he is on the border to being underweight. From a scientific perspective diet has everything to do with acne. From a scientific perspective milk cause acne from igf-1 and saturated fat content. I speak danish, norwegian, swedish, german, spanish and english. And yes sometimes I make a mistake, thank you for letting me know. Have a nice day
  6. Yes you are on the border to being underweight. Eat some healthy fat: coconut oil, olive oil, coconut milk, almonds. (coconut is saturated fat, but the content is different from saturated fat in dairy and meat, and will not cause acne) If it doesn't put up your weight, you need to eat some low Gi carbs, brown rice, full wheat pasta etc. Yes it does Diet has everything to do with acne. Milk causes acne from saturated fat and IGF-1. This is on the other hand good ad
  7. "The epiphenomena of Propionibacterium acnes overgrowth, Malassezia furfur multiplication, follicular wall rupture, inflammation both innate and adaptive, folliculopilosebaceous unit disintegration, secondary non-commensal bacterial infection, sinus formation and scarring are all downstream from mTORC1." http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3746129/ "Acne should be regarded as an mTORC1-driven disease of civilization, like obesity, type 2 diabetes and cancer induced by We
  8. What made you gain 15 pounds? Acne and facial hair grow may be a sign of PCOS.
  9. Wrong Let me rephrase, "Hormonal" acne and diet induced acne is the same thing in humans but not in trolls and bridges.
  10. Stress is known to cause worsening of acne, but I have not seen any scientific research finding that stress induces acne from clear skin. "Hormonal" acne and diet induced acne is the same thing.
  11. Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) gets significantly increased after masturbation. Conversion of testosterone to DHT increases androgen signalling via 5a-reductase from IGF-1 and other growth factors and activation of the mTORc1 and now you have acne. And no masturbation is not the cause of acne. If you get acne from masturbation it is because you already have mTORc1 in overdrive because of IGF-1 and other growth factors from the not-so-acne-friendly food and beverages you consume.
  12. This: http://www.acne.org/messageboard/topic/230714-good-things-for-the-many-factors-that-lead-to-acne/ Or search my posts for dietary advise. I got completely clear on the paleo diet (not a spinoff, but the original paleo diet from Dr. Cordain)It took several months.
