  1. How soon does the oil subside? Mine is very very oily, more oily than anyone I know. Ten minutes after washing I am shiny. I just started Differn gel and that makes it even worse.
  2. The doxy made me sick, even with a full meal. My question is will I be starting all over again or will my results continue because the drugs are very similar? I am also using Differn which makes me VERY oily, and I didnt think it was possible to be more oily than I was before. Any advice?
  3. She told me she only had to use it once. She said it burned for about two-three minutes and then tapered off. She said it had a white crust over the spot that improved within a few hours and peeled off within 24 hours. I don't know how big or deep the zit was. She had moderate acne mostly around the jawline.
  4. A friend of mine told me she used wart remover on a pimple that will not go away. It is Salicylic Acid 17%, and she says she only uses a tiny amount. She says it burns a little but the pimple dries up very quickly and peels off. This seems a little extreme to me. What does everyone else think? I looked at the drug store and most over the counter wart removers are Salicylic Acid 17%.
  5. Thanks for the info. My main problem is oily skin and clogged pores, those little while dots under the skin. I have some broken capillaries around my nose that have always bothered me and some reddness all over so I am hoping the Fotofacial will take care of that. My first Microderm is on Saturday so I will see how it goes, the total cost is 2000, but I was able to finance it. I don't have a lot of deep scars, just an allover uneven texture and dullness to my skin. Thanks again, I will
  6. I am starting foto facial treatments and microderm, each ten days apart. I have very oily skin, clogged pores and moderate breakouts. They told me these treatments will make my skin less oily and help with breakouts, along with reducing redness. Has anyone else had anything like this done? I would appreciate any comments or suggestions. I have tried lots of other things, antibiotics, retin a micro, differn and more with no real results. Thanks! Tiffany
  7. I made a post about this a few days ago, I have been on a lot of things, most recently Differn, and rapid clear has helped so much!!!
  8. I have moderate acne that has responded okay to Differn gel over the last six months. It has helped some, but never really got rid of my whiteheads or some stubborn acne on my chin. And my skin is OILY, I mean really oily. Ten minutes after washing it is very shiny and I can go through a few oil blotter sheets. So a week ago I started usuing neutrogena anti wrinkle and anti blemish face cleaner with AHA and SA. And neutrogena rapid clear lotion with SA. Now I have used things like this
  9. I have been on tetra for two months and I didn't have a inital break out at all, it has been really good. I resently started using differin too and it has worked great.
  10. I am on Differin and Tetra also and have had really good results. No inital breakout or anything.
  11. No, my derm told me to do this, just don't take them at the same time. I take my tetra in the morning and the evening and acidophilus in the afternoon.
  12. What about if you have been on tetra first? i have been on it and topical clindagel for the last two months with good results. I just started differin to get rid of some whiteheads. Will the tetra help me avoid the inital breakout but reducing inflamation?
  13. I have been on tetracycline and topical clindamycin for about two months and I have had good results. However I have ALOT of whitehead that will not go away. I went to the derm today and he gave me differin to use at night, and I am continuing with the tetra and clindagel. My question is will I have a breakout when I start differin? I have not had a major pimple in almost two months. I am just afraid the whiteheads I have will turn into full blown pimples before they go away. Since I am
