  1. hi LAET, I am on my 4th 30% glycolic peel and have been using copper peptides as well, I cant really say which is helping the most but my scars do seem slightly better with the combination. Glycolic acid is very harsh on my skin though and leaves my skin looking dry and wrinkled for about 4 days after. I would rather try either the Lactic acid or the Salicylic acid peel, I have ordered the latter and will let you know how I get on with it. Lactic acid is supposed to be much so
  2. Hi BarBQLover there are two types of TriReduction, one with Retinol and one without. I brought the one without just in case it broke me out. Thanks for the advice, I will take it easy and see how I get on.
  3. Hi all, I just wanted to tell you about the strongest Copper Peptide lotion I have found on the net, Its called Protect and Restore TriReduction and has 3 times the amount of copper than P&R's other cream's which are much stronger than other CP lotion/cream's anyway. I brought the Basic P&R cream before I found out about the TriReduction. Just letting you know so you don't make the same mistake. Here's the web site, http://www.scar-reduction.com/acnescars.html
  4. Hi Lisa and Tifanie's Secret, Lisa, I don't think the Salicylic acid will break me out as I have been using Benzol Peroxide with a Salicylic acid based moistuizer for about 3 months now. My skin is now the clearest it has been for 18 years with only 1 spot per week (on average). I have also been on 8gm of Vitamin B5 a day for about 2 months so it could be that that's helping my acne the most, I will have to cut down on the Benzol Peroxide so
  5. You should only buy products that have been independently proven to stimulate collagen growth. As far as I know, and please correct me if I'm wrong, the only products you can buy that are proven to stimulate collagen growth are. 1. Copper Peptides 2. Retin A 3. Chemical skin peels. There maybe other products that help, like Vitamin A, Vitamin E and Retinol but I don't think they have been proven to work.
  6. Hi Tifanie's Secret, I haven't yet recived the salicylic acid peel from that website ( http://glycolicpeel.com/index.htm ), I have only just ordered it today. I found a shop on www.ebay.com that was selling a small bottle of Salicylic acid for $10 (approx), so i decided to send them an e-mail asking about delivery charges to the u.k. That was a week ago and I haven't had a reply, so I have now decided to buy from the site you originaly re
  7. Thanks BarBQLover and Tifanie, I will order some salicylic acid from that site you mentioned, its supposed to be good for oily skin too. I dunno about the CP Exfol serum though it might be too harsh to use with the other two peels. I will try using Salicylic acid, 30% Glycolic acid and the Protect and restore copper peptides, hopefully that should speed the scar reduction up. It does say on the http://glycolicpeel.com/index.htm website that you can use Salicylic acid and Glycolic acid togeth
  8. If you can't find 2.5% BP in the shops you can mix 10% BP to 3 parts moisturiser, or mix 5%BP with 1 part moisturiser. This will give you a 2.5% sollution. I use Clean&Clear moisturiser which is for acne (it contains salicylic acid) morning and night to give 2.5 BP which doesn't make my skin red at all now. Thanks Dan for a great website and for sharing your routine with us.

  11. Hi All, I was just wondering if anyone knows where you can buy home salicylic peels from who ship to the U.K please? I have already used 30% Glycolic acid three times and have been using Copper Peptides ever day which do seem to be smoothing out my skin (albiet slowly). I have heard you can use Salicylic peels before Gylycolic peels to penetrate even deeper into the skin and would like to order some. Many thanks in advance. Steve
