  1. This is an awesome product. It can be found at Wal-Mart for under $3. It gently dries up blemishes overnight and takes the redness away. I apply it to my whole face twice a week. I leave it on for an hour then rinse away w/ warm water. I spot treat every night and leave it on all night. I wake up to much smaller pores and smoother skin. Anyone else have good luck w/ this product?
  2. Angel, I have to agree w/ u. I have been experimenting w/ Iredal and BE but they really don't do the trick like liquid foundation. Also, they make my face very greasy... and no, I don't put too much on. This has led to some breakouts. Now that my face is almost clear and 'balanced', I can use my normal oil free liquid foundation and it looks ok. Sure it's not 'natural' looking but I don't care. I feel more confident w/ more coverage. Thanks for your response. By the way, what make up do
  3. I believe it is helping both. I thought NOTHING would get rid of the red marks, however, they are slowly fading. I use Carley's face wash and am having fantastic results w/ that as well. I'm very skeptical about products since I have wasted sooo much money trying to cure and cover. Nothing has worked like my current regime... 5 grams of b5, vitamins a, c, e, b50 complex, EFA supplement, tons of water, Carley's face wash and clindamycin topical. I went from having perfect skin to a damn me
  4. I take 5 grams of b5 (the vitamin). You can purchase this online as well. I hear there is a site that offers it in powder form as well as the topical stuff. I think it's acnemiracle.com B5 has dramatically helped my skin. I have a cyst now. First one since I've been on it (a month) but it's going away pretty fast. Good luck.
  5. You can purchase Jane Iredale products on the 'net. Just type in "Jane Iredale" or "Mineral make up" in a search engine and plenty of results will come up.
  6. Ladies, I have not been using my ProActiv toner ever since I started on b5. My face cleared up completely (minus red marks/scars) however, it's pretty oily. I'm still using the Jane Iredale and getting used to it. Ordered some bare escentuals the other day. Can't wait to try that. Anyway... I'm afraid to use toner. I'm worried that it will break me out or it that it was making the break outs worse? My face is so oily. It used to be so dry I couldn't put on foundation so I'm not exactly
  7. I have the pressed powder. I also use the flocked sponge and put it on in a "tapping/rocking" motion. Yesterday, after applying it, I used some loose powder over it. It covered a little better. Overall, it looks 10X better than my normal foundation b/c it looks way more natural. BUT I notice some tiny white shiny spots dotted on my face, especially on the dry areas. This is really the only problem I'm having now that I've experimented w/ ways to apply it. I put on moisturizer and wait 15
  8. Well, I got the courage to try the Jane Iredale this morning. Looks OK so far but really isn't enough coverage. Or maybe I am just used to a liquid foundation. Also, it left tiny white dots of powder all over my face. Not sure what's up w/ this. The make up is light and does look natural though. I think for someone w/ already perfect skin this make up would be awesome. Too bad this is not me. I haven't checked my face out in the natural sunlight though. I'm too afraid!!!!

  10. Hi. I'm using cleanser w/ 2.5 BP... Proactiv. It has a mild exfoliant and helps get rid of the dry skin. Clindamycin makes me a little dry. But not near as dry as a topical w/ BP or salicyc acid as main ingredients. Sometimes this cleanser is irritating but I need something w/ an exfoliater so I can have semi smooth skin for make up. Any suggestions on a mild exfoliator/cleanser? Thanks!
  11. I use cortizone cream (you can buy this anywhere... wal mart, pharmacy, etc.) and a dab of retin A. Cover the whole area that is swollen w/ the cortizone. It usually clears mine over night. It dramatically reduces the swelling for me and I get them the size of golf balls!

  13. I use the gel form. I love that it is gel and not cream. What kind of wash did you use? I use Proactiv w/ 2.5 BP. Do you think BP is good to use w/ it?

  15. I'm on b5 (only 4 grams), take a b complex along w/ efa supplement and I still get headaches and stomach aches. But hell, it's worth it for me. I was getting panic attacks from my acne so this is nothing. Does suck to have to live on tylenol.
