  1. Poor poor laura, I know that shinking feeling. So sorry Last month I had to go to a family party, my husbands side of the family. He has lots of grumpy old aunts that talk a bunch and make lots of judgements. I was scared. I did notice Aunt Johanna staring at me, she's a super grump, but she didn't say anything. On the way home I mentioned how imbarrassing the experience was and that Aunt Johanna's stares were especially nervewracking. He said " well her daughter had horrible acne until she
  2. I can't say much about b6 for acne. I couldn't handle popping that many pills. But I do take Vitex and I got it through my Natropathic doctor but you can order it online no problem. Do a google search for vitex. People have told me that it takes a few months to work. goodluck
  3. The car mirror is by far the worst mirror that I look at. Actually I'm banned from using it. Sometimes my husband and i drive to work together and on the days that he drives I sit in the passengers seat and finish putting on foundation. 9 times out of 10 it makes me cry. I've just stopped using it and feel so much better.
  4. goodluck, I know how hard it is to wait. I'm on Erythromycie too 100 mg /day. Either that or the CSR is slowly improving things.
  5. so sorry, I just don't know what it is. I have them too but little bumps are the least of my worries right now.
  6. OH you poor thing. I feel your pain. Everyone on these message boards know how you feel about facing people. This is the place to vent! I hope you feel better about it by tuesday. hugs
  7. Commercials aimed at women and girls like that usually infuriate me. Some young person somewhere is sitting on their couch feeling insecure about their one pimple. Message is that it's not OK to have a couple of pimples and you should really go take care of it by putting some crap on your face (that will make things worse) instead of leaving it alone and being OK with yourself. Be perfect girls!! no room for ugly here.
  8. This has happened to me at first too but disappeared when I doubled the moisturizer. I'll take wrinkles over severe acne anyday though.
  9. Spooky Brendan. For some reason, since I started the regimen red marks left after pimples have been sticking around a lot longer. Indiscriminately too. It's been around for a few weeks you say? hrm. Don't worry about it too much, it'll go away.
  10. Retin-A was my biggest nightmare, but it's not for all people. I just went on a rant about hating doctors that need not be repeated here. Goodluck with Doxy and don't put too much faith in that doc. My skin started to improve when I threw their advise out the window.
  11. Doctors can be incensitive and uninformed. It took me a while to realize that I was seeing such a doctor. He continually prescribed me meds that didn't work, I spent hundreds of dollars (as we all have on this, I'm sure) on medicine that not only didn't work but were totally unsuitable for my sensitive skin type. He spent 15 min. with me at each visit, if that! Jerk. Retin-A was the last straw. I'm mad at doctors
  12. Grreaat, Thanks for the tips. Since I don't want my skin to start falling off in chunks, I think I'll use it sparingly if at all. Maybe 1/2 finger at night only.
  13. So I have this tube of persa gel which has 10% B and have run out of On The Spot... What'll happen to my skin if I just use this for a few days until Dan's BP arrives? Little aliens crawling out of my pores?
