  1. I admire people like that so much. They're naturally really cool, accepting people as well. It's not hard to see why they're liked.
  2. Hahaha, yeah I had the joys of night markets. They're very... Interesting. ;-). endersshadow, I know what you mean about being the time to grow up. Perhaps I should clarify, I'll be doing volunteer work for the year I'm in South America. I graduate this year from university and I'll be working in my field so it's a logical career step. I don't think 22 is an age bracket to really stress about careers yet though, provided you're taking the steps. You either travel young or old if you want
  3. ... And it was GREAT! To give a brief background, I'm 22 and I suffered from severe acne from 13 to 20 and moderate acne till 22. Ironically, I've cleared down to a mild condition... Since I've been back. Good timing, huh? I was lucky enough to maintain a very large social network through high school and even a couple of girlfriends despite having severe acne and I put this down to ensuring I always had a positive, welcoming attitude and a love to laugh, whether at myself or by making funnie
  4. Cool song from Jay-Z. Nas always was better though. Illmatic rocked. EDIT: The cynic in me thinks that Jay-Z would have taken quite a large royalty from Proactiv to drop their product name in. What you think? Snoop was taking royalties for dropping 'Big Mac' into his rhymes. Damn mainstream rhymes. He used to be good.
  5. I approve of this post. It extends to people in general. When you have acne and you end up with a lot of friends, you're naturally surrounded by a lot of cool people that aren't judgemental. Nice post, EddieE.
  6. I totally understand people getting down in the dumps over acne, I totally get it. I was there once and still have down times. But at some point you've just got to say, "Fuck it!". I'm 21 and still have very moderate acne, just reduced from severe. However, I'm a positive outgoing person (through choice) and life just isn't that bad. I have hundreds of friends and many girlfriends (...oops) and am travelling as much as I can (Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand in December and then Tanzania, Afr
  7. Fucking.... Wow. I have no idea how you could have handled that, I really admire your patience and calm temperament. Especially from a FRIEND. There was a lad who started hanging out with my crew for a little bit who made a cutting remark about my acne that was much less offensive than that and I punched him in the mouth. It was good, none of my mates stepped in or did anything about it when he was whinging and whining. He just stopped hanging around us... I do regret it now, though. So b
  8. I can see why people believe the 'big-pharmo-asshole' theory. But think about this; Imagine if a company could create a cure for acne and sell it? Imagine the market. In my opinion, if there was a cure there'd be someone selling it for sure. We'd know about it.
  9. I'm a rapper in my spare time. Recording a demo tape at the moment. I spend a lot of my time in a home made studio and writing or reading associated topics to my rhymes (politics, religion, etc). Other than that, aquariums, drugs and parties .
  10. Hey man, I use Nivea's line of tinted moisturisers and they don't break me out. Give me a lot of shine though but good red mark cover.
  11. I completely agree with you. This is what annoys me about the Western world. It only matters when OUR citizens die, right? Not the massive amounts of people our ignorant countries are murdering in cold blood overseas. Millions of families destroyed, a country on the brink of a humanity crisis, .... NO wmd's found. Good move, USA. As if. Don't get me wrong, it's a tragedy that people were killed in 9/11. But where are the tears for all them people dead overseas? Where are the tears for
  12. Yeah, but he won't know if it "isn't his style" unless he tries it. Maybe a whole world of fun will open up to him? It did for me. But I'm known as a bit of a "party guy"... I tend to throw a lot of them. Go to a party! Have some fun!
  13. Nice writing, man. But damn I hate this emo trend. Maybe that's why you're lonely? I know my mates and I would never want to talk to the dude cloaked in black, trying to be hardcore.
