  1. I don't think people know their skin better than anyone else. and JR86 is right, acne takes at least a week to form.
  2. you know your skin better than anyone else. if masturbation breaks you out, then it breaks you out. don't let people tell you otherwise. personally, it breaks me out.
  3. Hey guys, I've discovered a way to spot treat zits effectively without irritating your skin. I've used this method for a while and it hasn't failed me yet. All you need is Aloe Vera, BP (I use Dan's), and ice First, wash your face. Then ice the cyst for 5 minutes. Next, apply a thin layer of Aloe Vera over the zit/cyst. Give it 30 seconds and let it dry. Then apply BP on top of it. I'm not sure what the science is behind this, but my cysts come to head a lot more quickly and will go away i
  4. Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I hope the best for all of you
  5. Hello I'm a 20 year old male and lately I've noticed that I ONLY get acne on my chin and they're not whiteheads, but painful cysts. Not just one or two, but 3 or 4 at a time! Does anyone know what I can do about this? Unlike the rest of my face, my chin sheds irregularly. It's a lot drier than the rest of my face and I don't understand why. Please help?
  6. ihaveabu - I understand what you are saying but this was during a graduation ceremony and she was busy with her friends, taking pictures, etc. while I was busy with my best friend and cousin graduating. I wanted to go up and talk to her but it wasn't the best time nor place to do it since we were preoccupied with more important things. Also, I have never seen her before and I don't see her often so to say hi is pretty difficult which is why I thought a simple message joking about how awkward th
  7. I told a friend that I thought this girl is cute. He told me he knew her and will talk to her for me. I told him to ask for her e-mail (I thought this would be the better, subtle approach) this is the part where he messed up... he tells her to add me on facebook and she thought that it would be weird and awkward but she did it anyway (this makes it seem like I told my friend to ask her to add me on facebook which sounds pathetic) AND on top of that he asks her for her number and he tells her w
  8. I did a lot of research and finally found out that I have atopic dermatitis (facial eczema). It looks a lot like acne and it itches a lot. Is there anything that will help get rid of this faster? I had it last winter and summer and it lasted for 3 weeks!!! Please help
  9. one word of advice. don't post without credible sources. there are a lot of cynical people on this board. just giving you a heads up. I also believe that they are linked, but I need to know where you found this information from. thanks
  10. Aren't red marks left after a zit usually flat? To better describe it, it's red, about 1/2 inch in diameter, and slightly elevated like it's swelling. It's not a zit, just a bump. I think I had a bad reaction to the BP, but I've been using Dan's BP for about a year now and I've never had this problem before. Could it be an allergic reaction to something?
  11. The best way to describe is a red spot on my face that looks like it's elevated but it isn't when I touch it. Prior to this forming, there was a tiny white head and I put some of Dan's BP on it. The next day, it started to turn red and now it's just a red spot with no white head or anything. I know it isn't a pimple. It's just a red spot. Anyone know what is the best way to get rid of this? And why this is happening?
  12. i've tried a whole lot of things over the past 7 years. retin-a, doxycycline, benzaclin, tazorac, differin, bp, sa, proactiv, murad Yeah, you definitely convince doctors and its not only a last resort for severe acne. It is also for those who were unsuccessful with many other treatments. My friends were able to convince their doctors to prescribe them Accutane and they all had skin like mine. I still break out but as of this moment my skin isn't too bad. I have a lot of blackheads on my nose
  13. I'm going to see my dermatologist on the 11th and I was wondering: How long does it take to start Accutane? Btw, I'm a guy and away at school so I can't keeping going back and forth. Will I get the prescription on the day I'm prescribed it? My skin is not that bad right now, but I have really oily skin which is why I want Accutane. Do you think it will lower my chances of getting Accutane? If so, how can I convince him to prescribe it?
