  1. I don't remember the last time I smiled.

I am without a doubt one of the most miserable people on earth. I hate my life. I hate everything about my life. This in turn has made me:

    • Hate going outside
    • Hate people
    • Hate even watching people on TV
    • Hate being near people
And when I see people happy, it disgusts me. And I wish nothing but misery on them. I wish they were like me.

  2. Over the past year, since I've become 30, I have been getting acne alongside my jawline. I mean bad. Large ones that even by using salicylic acid only brings them down a little, but doesn't disappear completely.

I've been using Nature's Cure, which 'used' to work, but doesn't anymore.

I use Neutrogena Skin Clearing makeup because its the only kind that I can use that doesn't make my breakouts worse.

I have to use a progesterone-only birth control pill due to migraines. (The estrogen in the pill causes my migraines to come much more frequently)

At one point I did end up going to a dermatologist, who gave me a prescription for Differin and something else.

However, I am unemployed due to focusing on my last semester of school and I no longer have medical insurance, but I still have a tube of Differin left.

Is there anything I can do to get this to go away? I guess its karma or a curse after being able to get through high school with mild acne.

I don't smoke, I drink very rarely, I switched from regular soda to diet. I'm at my wits end here!

any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    From ClinDerm book.

A low-grade, persistent acne is common in professional women. Closed comedones are the dominant lesions, with a few papulopustules. Premenstrual flare-ups are typical. Many of these patients passed through adolescence without acne. One author postulated that chronic stress leads to enhanced secretion of adrenal androgens, resulting in sebaceous hyperplasia and subsequent induction of comedones. A survey was taken of adult premenopausal women treated for mild-to-moderate, nonscarring, inflammatory acne who had undergone standard acne treatments without success or who had a clinical presentation suggesting hyperandrogenism (premenstrual exacerbations, irregular menses, coexisting hirsutism, androgenetic alopecia, seborrhea, or acne distribution on the lower face area, mandibular line, or neck).

  3. Why do I bother typing on here and expressing my feelings, when no one bothers to answer me :(

I feel so lonely and low, yet people read my posts but dont answer me. It really does upset me :(

Venting is good. Who cares if anyone responds? Just put it out there. The lack of response doesn't mean we don't care. Sometimes people just don't know what to say. Don't take it personally. And I know that can be hard when you're already feeling shitty, but keep it in perspective. Does it even matter if anyone responds? Nah.

People just don't have a response sometimes like Kitty said.
