  1. Bump. My nose sounds pretty identical to yours.
  2. No offence, but THIS IS A STUPID THREAD TO START OFF WITH!!! Know why? Because I know I used to think this way. BUT After discussing it with some of the world's most experienced players, I realise that it has absolutely NIL effect on your ability to pull. Don't believe me? Go to this thread.. http://www.realsocialdynamics.com/communit...6315&page=2 (also do a search for acne scar threads on that site) it actually started off discussing somethign else but half way along it turns to acn
  3. Thanks. As I said, I didn't know how much of it was actually scarring, how much was general 'ruggedness', large pores etc. I had invisible pores until I was 11, then I had small ones up to 16 or so, then my skin grew more porous, and since my 18th Bday (I'm 23 now) I've had a rough appearance. My mum is mid 50s but her skin looks younger and less porous than mine! lol. Then again she's chinese, and chinese women never look old IMO. Thanks for the replies guys. Maybe a lot of it is in my head
  4. Most of what you see is scarring. Hypertrophic nose lumps. Strange tiny holes in my cheeks either scars or large pores, I don't know. Only some acne left around the mouth now, which I can't get rid of. Ive had acne for 11 years quite moderate/severely, this is the after effect Any advice, even if its bad news, would help. I have always been healthy and put heaps of work into my skin. It breaks my heart how bad it looks. Maybe I should stop trying to fix it and just 'man up' and accept it?
  5. The best way for the surgeons to make money is to keep using crude old methods like subcision and TCA and dermabrasion. WHY? So they get more return trade!!! As you can see testimony of on this forum, these methods have been known to have less than satisfactory results with some patients, resulting in more return trade...which is why there isn't much research into new scientific methods to treat scarring!!!. Ever wonder why medicine and surgery is making huge leaps forwards, while scar treatment
  6. Ive got the same problem. I think its a case of 'damned if you do, damned if you don't", so don't feel guilty about bursting it....with my big boils, if I pop them they leave a small white lump, but if I don't they can get deeper and leave a crater.....from personal experience, but then again im not a doc THe lump may be collagen...this will be slowly eaten away by collagenase enzyme that digests collagen. This could take anywhere from weeks to years depending on your genetics

  8. Thespian is spot on, although the healing process can be made more efficient by using the correct combination of natural healing products (I'd recommend a herbalist, Ive not had one more scar since I started herbal treatment). My pustules have never scarred unless they are there for more than 1-2 weeks. That seems to be the 'use by date' for my pustules to heal themselves, although this will obviously vary depending on the person. Some parts of the face also heal faster than others IMO. Cysts ar
  9. Subaru are you sure that was a scar? Sometimes I used to pop whiteheads and they left a non-permanent macule which went away in a week. Also, My sister got a big fat lump on her nose from a piercing gone wrong, but it also went away fast....from experience the big volcanoish craters are usually from big cysts, is that right from your experience anonmous66? Also, Subaru...can you tell more about this nifty nose-lump-burning surgery? I could do with that myself Anonymous 66 feel free to post a p
  10. They r definately scars. I mentioned red to emphasise they r new...what i mean is will they improve as they heal and get to normal skin colour. From experience, the colour will fade in 2 mths to one year depending on your health/skin type etc Whether or not they 'dent' depends on how much healing product you use (also from experience). Natural products like tea tree oil etc work well. FOrget your doc, SEE A HERBALIST. I have had no more scars since I chucked my dermo and got a good herba
