  1. I have been using ACV for about 3 months now and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I don't feel the need to buy tons of products like I used to because ACV exfoliates and brightens my skin nicely. Yes my old red marks are still here, but they are still fading and I've realized that nothing works overnight - except for surgery maybe. I can tell the difference in my complexion so I am now dedicated to ACV. One thing though, I find that inexpensive grocery store ACV works better for me tha
  2. No Problem! I just came up with that idea about a week ago!
  3. Here's a little tip if you just want to try ACV, dip the end of a Q-tip into ACV and then dab it on a zit maybe 2 or 3 times a day. If you see that it helps then you may want to try it all over. I use it straight and even when I first tried it I never diluted it - only you know if your skin can handle it. Q-tips are great for a lot of things - if I have a white head that is on it's way out, then I will take 2 Q-tips and GENTLY ease it out instead of using my fingers.
  4. I actually got a drop of ACV IN my eye - I guess I had a little too much in the cotton ball and while I was swiping it on my forehead it fell in. It stung like you-know-what for about 20 seconds and then it just stopped. I know ACV has many health benefits but I doubt it's good for eyes. lol. Oh well. Anyways, just a comment about how great ACV is . . . I have never found a better product since I started buying products. And that is about 15 years worth of products. I have tried fading pe
  5. I will be saving LOTS of $$$!!! lol! Thanks so much for this thread, SP!!!
  6. So, I've been using ACV for about a week or so now, and I am loving it! My skin tone has improved so much, my old red marks seem to be turning pink, and even though I still have to blot my face, it's not as oily as it was before. I picked up a book at the local library called "Amazing Apple Cider Vinegar" - very interesting! I also went and pick up ACV tablets (only $5) at the drugstore and it seems to have cut my appetite in half so I don't find myself snacking as much. I'm still using th
  7. I wasn't so sure about ACV when I first read it here in this thread - but I am so thankful that I tried it and that seems to be working. I have old red marks that are years old - they have faded over the years quite a bit but are still noticeable. The fact that ACV shrunk a painful big zit in less than 24 hours when BP didn't do that in 3 weeks sold me on it. I also noticed that yesterday when I got home from work, and looked in the mirror (which is a horrible thing to do after a long sweaty
  8. I can't believe how much money I've wasted on products over the years, when an inexpensive ACV does many jobs @ once. So, I've been using ACV a few days now and I can't believe the difference. I had a really bad zit for about 3 weeks and BP wasn't even budging it. I use ACV and it is healing so fast now. I had a few other active zits that popped up about a week ago that are healing much faster than usual as well. I am thrilled!!! My makeup goes on so much smoother also!!! Thanks for all y

  11. WHAT THE HELL KIND OF FRENCH FRIES WERE YOU EATING!? so i can avoid getting them :) Well, to me it just smells like strong malt vinegar. Now I'm embarrassed that I admitted that.
  12. I meant to put this in the Emotional and Psycological Effects Of Acne Forum. Darn.
  13. Just wondering how many people have one or more songs that manages to lift their spirits when they are depressed about the way they look and feel. Even if the spirit-lifting only lasts the length of the song itself. One of mine is "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World.
