  1. yepp. I used to have that type of acne. Proper using of BP and moisturizer helped me out a lot.
  2. Make the first move. By grabbing your arm or touching you doesn't mean that he is not shy; because he might still be quite shy, but just trying to overcome his shyness. If you go for it, you will then both help him and yourself out.
  3. Damn, that was one nasty picture... Looks like he has cancer (if that pic is real)... There are ppl having tumors, even larger than that. but mostly on their backs...
  4. uhm. but one needs to continue using BP in order to keep the acne away... So why does he want to sell them?
  5. Yeah. it is normal to have an initial breakout with differin... stick to it (and your BP) and it'll be fine...
  6. yepp it sure does look like red marks...
  7. AHA, can be found at any large supermarket I guess (in the States... in Sweden you have to go to the pharmacy); just some glycolic acid... Retinols should be perfect for you; visit your derm and he might give you something (not very expensive)... It can take a long time for red marks to fade, depending on skin type and how deep they are. You might get some scarring, but retinol helps that BP can even delay the healiing of scars! Go, get retinol
  8. 10% BP may be a little too harsh for her. It could cause more redness than necessary... And as she has very mild acne (as what I can see from the pic) a maximum of 5% would be enough... Go for 2.5% if you can get hold of it (in Sweden the mildest is 4%) Are there some white residue of the BP on her face? If that bothers her, tell her to use a bit more moisturizer at those places (a non-comedogenic ofc)
  9. Show us the link. http://www.apoteket.se/rd/d/4520/ProductSK...on/showProdInfo The substances in it are not given, so I'll write what it says on the bottle: Aqua, Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, TEA Lauryl Sulfate, Hydrogenated Peanut Oil, Lactic Acid, Lactose, Milk Protein, PEG-2 Stearate, Glycol Stearate, Hydroxyethyl Ethylcellulose, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Methylparaben, Methylparaben, Cholesterol, Phosphoric Acid Hmm. My 500ML bottle doesn't look exactly as that the one in the link, bu
  10. Hello again... I just bought a cleanser called Lactacyd made by GlaxoSmithCline. It can be found in the acne-category at the pharmacy webpage (in Sweden). But there is some hydrogenated peanut oil in it, and I wonder if it is ok to use it; without any chance of clogging any pores?
  11. My face is quite weird as well... after applying bp my face gets very dry, and a bit flaky as well, so I moisturize... but the problem is that I get very oily skin after maybe half a day... it is just annoying... I hope it'll go over after some years...
  12. hmm. 8-10 red marks eeh? I've got over 30!!! But I'm happy... The CSR has cleared my face from annoying imflamed pimples [got tons of these before] Are those red marks large? Then there might be product that can mollify them and make them smaller...
  13. what moisturizer do you use... I used a bad one: a comedogenic one (not non-comedogenic) and it ruined a year of my life [got moderate acne!]... now I use a noncomedogenic one (and I use lots of it) without any problems!
  14. yupp, as long as you don't use a comedogenic moisturizer which I did you almost a year!!! Thank god that I found this web site [Now I use another moisturizer... much much much better!!!]
  15. Be sure to use a non-comedogenic moisturizer!!! Well I didn't and my last year was completely ruined (until I found this web site :P)
  16. Continue with Acnefree if it worked for you, then just replace your 10% with something milder... It is hard to prevent an initial breakout; but it is different for different people; many only get a mild initial break out and some almost none... What type of acne do you have?
  17. And your "parents" allow you to do that?!...... well I've tried that and it works on those big and visible blackheads but the biggest challenge is when you don't completely remove the blackhead or you left some zit on the pore--- you'll definetly suffer fom excessive swelling and redness the following day. ;) ;) I've made those mistakes before... But I've also learnt from them; I only extract blackheads that start to get a bit protruding; so there's only a minor risk or excess
  18. Yupp, I totally agree... I used to get them all the time... But now when I use BP and moisturizer properly I seldom get those
  19. Hi Myspip! Unfortunally I haven't tried the product you're talking about... I don't believe that strong topics like 5% Basiron is as benificial for MY skin compared to a lower BP solution like Dan's 2.5% BP Gel. My acne-condition, even though non-existing at the moment thanks to the regimen, is rather mild and using the Basiron would be to harsh an irritating on my skin... But I have no idea about you're acne-condition, sounds like it's moderate. Or what? If so, in that case you might need a
  20. I would not use it if it's not made for it...and also note that BP washes are not as effective as a BP Gel/Creme since you wash the BP away. - or maybe you just wanna let it stay on your face ? -still, I would not do that. It says wash gel, and it behaves just like the gel (it doesn't "flow" or move like a liquid), except that it is easier to smoothen out. It doesn't say that it is for back acne, but I think it is recommended to use for back acne, as it is easier to put on larger areas (
  21. I just bought myself Basiron AC Wash 5% BP. This product is mainly used for back acne etc (i think... as it is semi-liquid/semi-gel). Is it possible for me to use it on my cheeks and chin (no risk of getting it in the eyes etc) during mornings? Because I think it gives a lot less white residue as from the 5% Gel... [i normally use Brevoxyl 4%cream, but the store has run out of it.,...]
  22. OMG, just like me... [but I think that this is just psychological] I sometimes even get symmetrical pimples at weird places, like in my eye brows... so annoying... But BP has helped me now
  23. Even though open comedones are not caused by bacteria, bacteria can make the blackheads go inflamed, so if you stop using BP the bacteria can come back and inflame your blackheads. So continue with BP... When I hadn't started my regimen I always got inflamed pimples and almost no blackheads at all, now I get some more blackheads but almost never imflamed pimples, so I think that it is just so that my skin doesn't shed that well and clog the pores, but at least there are no bcteria that make them

  25. Proactive SuX! Use some other type of BP (much cheaper of course) for larger areas at least...
