  1. How much is the MAC 190? Maybe I should add it to my collection of brushes. I dont realy use a lot of product no matter what brush I use. I use one of those dishes from the EM site that looks like the dish the foundation and concealer come in except this dish is empty; you just pour however much foundation and concealer you need into the dish and when you are done you poor the rest back into the original containers.
  2. i use both a flat top and the MAC 190 foundation brush. if im applying my EM dry, i'll use the flat top - the coverage is awesome and it doesn't use alot of product. if i'm using my tinted moisturizer method, i'll use the MAC 190.
  3. not sure. i'd suggest sending EM picture of you, no makeup, in natural light so they can assist you with finding the right shade. you may have to mix some shades together to get a really good match. i always recommend getting a sample kit since it's free (u do pay for shipping). no. this is actually the method that i use to wear my EM. it has yet to cause me any breakouts......
  4. You'd think I'd have this figured out given I'm a stylist but I'm undecided. I'm in a wedding in August and I'm a part of the grooms party but wearing a bridesmaid's dress (looong story). This is the dress (persimmon is the color in case it doesn't show up as such) and I'm not sure if I should wear it up or down. The wedding will be in the morning (eleven) and inside a hotel. up or down? curly or straight? you should be able to see some pics of my hair in my gallery. if not, you can see them o
  5. i love them both. the flat top is the best for overall foundation application. the coverage it gives is amazing and it doesn't use that much product  i have the baby kabuki and i love it for applying the finishing dust. they're both really really soft and great quality. definitely get them both. :D
  6. of course u can!!!! i'm glad u love it as for summer makeup, it depends but not really, at least i don't because of the temperature...
  7. i use baby shampoo. one of the posters on this board is a MA (makeup artist) for MAC and she said to stay away from brush cleaner b/c it breaks down the hairs on the brush. so, i use baby shampoo and wash my brushes twice a week.
  8. i carry around my concealer, concealer brush, carmex, and a lip gloss. i only touch up with concealer if i need it and of course, i touch up my gloss. gotta keep the lips looking good
  9. I have no idea. I was so excited for Oasis, because I love gold shades, but the gold just disappears after a few hours, and I'm left with brown, flaky looking lids. i love gold shades too - i have this and i love love love it. it lasts long and wears well....i strongly recommend it..... Heh, I was actually surfing that site earlier, followed a link you posted in another thread. Looks very very nice....trying to refrain from spending more money on makeup......it's so hard. yes

  12. I LOVE Comfy. It's a beautiful shimmery bronze that I think is just gorgeous. I also love Cool Breeze - its a pinky plum with a touch of green in it. i have others, but i haven't really used them yet. i do want to try Smokey Pink, Baby Bath, and To Do List..... i have shades on both pearl and shimmer and both wear well for me. i wonder if it's the actual ingredients themselves. that's awfully strange.
  13. congrats! that is a HUGE step!!! i'm slowly getting there myself - i dont wear makeup on the weekends and i've gone from using only EM to mixing with w/my moisturizer so i can even out my skin tone but still have a natural look. it's funny because i've gone to work without makeup in the past and nobody tripped or looked at me like i was the lead character from Predator. as for eyes, i'm another convert to Maybelline Full N Soft mascara. i hated it at first but have grown to absolutely love it.
  14. agreed. if they are in fact bushy, then a definite shaping and cleaning up of the actual brow would be a great place to start. once you've got a shape that you're happy with, then start work on the color. i would def suggest powder as well. the look is much more natural than a pencil.
  15. welcome to the cult :D my suggestion is to try an actual primer - many of us have the same problem with oiliness and the popular solution is to use Monistat Anti-Chafing powder gel as your actual primer. this is what i use as a primer and it works wonders. i do have to touch up some spots during the day - mainly recent breakouts - but as a whole, thanks to the monistat, the EM stays with no problems. also, try dusting your face with the silk dust after ur finished doing the final touch ups. that
