  1. Thanks for all of your help so far. I was wondering if you guys thought my scars and mild acne would benefit from retin-a or retin-a micro? Thanks again. Mark

  3. I hope this e-mail finds everyone well. I posted these pics a while back and I am pretty much in the same situation as I was then. I was wondering if you guys had some suggestions for me. I was thinking perhaps a good exfoliator might help with my smaller indents, or perhaps something like retin-a. I am currently using differin and mandelic acid every other day and using a cetaphil soap as a cleanser. Any help is greatly appreciated. Keep fighting. Mark http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.
  4. Personally, I would wait a little while before you decide to use the mandelic. I also took accutane a while back so I have a pretty good idea what you're going through right now. I think it would be wise to give your skin a break after you're done with your accutane treatment. Give your skin some time to heal before going to the mandelic. I know it's tough, but I think it will yield the greatest results in the end. Peace. Mark
  5. Although I never knew Marc, I am deeply saddened by his untimely death. During times of great pains and troubles we must find strength in our faith. Being a Christian, during these times I look to the heavens for guidance. However, I know that is not true for everyone. Each person has his or her own means off coping with hardship. Whether you're Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, or any denomination it really doesn't matter to me. It is not my place to pass judgment. Quite honestly, I don't thi
  6. I have considered smoothbeam. I am currently in college and to be honest I am a little worried about how long it will take to recover after each treatment. Especially since I play college basketball. I do think it is worth a shot though. Thanks for your concern. Mark
  7. Thanks for the reply, Obi. It seems like everyone on this board are raving about the mandelic acid. I was thinking I would somehow incorporate that with either the differin or the super cp serum. Peace. Mark
  8. I hope this e-mail finds everyone well. I have a quick question for everyone. I posted my pics earlier and many of you were very nice and gave me good advice. Since then I have gone to using a benzoyl peroxide cleanser and a neutrogena moisturizer with spf 20 with semi-decent results. I recently ordered a few products after reading several posts. The products I ordered are differin, super cp serum, and mandelic acid. My question for you, after looking at my pics, what would be the best wa
  9. I just found the link to walgreens http://www.walgreens.com/search/search_res...de_search.jhtml
  10. Jamie, I bought mine at the walgreens drug store out where I live. As long as they're still selling it there I assume you could just order it off their website online. Something like walgreens.com or something along those lines. Good luck. Mark
  11. I have tried pretty much everything. I took every over the counter product on the market. When I was younger I took retin-a, azlex, and pretty much every other topical you can think of. At age 15 accutane was prescribed. It did help with my acne. However, I was left with scarring on both cheeks. I am now 20 and my acne is somewhat under control. Even today I am trying new things to finally get rid of my acne problem. As when I was younger, I have tried many different things, including: r
  12. As I stated in an earlier post, I am planning on getting smoothbeam done when school starts back up again and the weather gets a little cooler as I don't want to chance hyperpigmentation with the harsh sun during the summer. My question for you guys concerns my current acne. I would call it light to moderate at most. Mainly just a few pimples here and there. I have tried many techniques, but there has been no success just yet. I would prefer a more natural way to abate this problem. howeve
  13. Thanks for all of your replies to my pics. I was wondering if you guys thought I am a good candidate for smoothbeam. And if so, I was wondering if you guys knew a good doctor in the northeast that you guys have had good success with. I remember one of you mentioning a great doctor from virgina that performs the procedure. I live in New Jersey but am willing to travel a fairly long distance for a good doctor. Thanks again. http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/bc/doucher20.../lst?.dir=/pics
  14. Sorry about the pics. Hopefully this link works. Thanks. http://f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/bc/doucher20.../lst?.dir=/pics
  15. I was just wondering whether or not other people are having trouble seeing the pics?
