  1. dannyy how are ya? you always disappear!

    1. Great job Drizzler! Eating good food others have prepared is even better than eating things you make yourself (which is why I promote sharing food by cooking for friends who will in turn cook for you ) and I agree, if you'd open an healthy food bistrot people would pay you to eat that yummy stuff. So you don't cook your quinoa?
    2. Yeah, one of the most important markers of health according to many studies I mean there's a strong link between how varied one's diet is and one's health Well I am sure it has to be variety HEALTHY diet (and not junk) in those studies Still in a diet of junk food only, you're going to be less healthy by eating m&ms or mcdonald everyday rather than eating a variet of junk food

    4. Saying something over and over doesn't make it true. I mean wheat is probably inferior and some people are intolerant to its proteins, but I tested negative all the times and eating wheat containing bread doesn't have any effect on my skin of health, nor abstaining from wheat had any relevant effect on my health Well, you, being of Mediterranean descent, are possible more adapted to digesting grains than those of us of more northern European descent. There's some evidence that grains have a

      3. I eat lot of cheese and yogurt and cream and those never break me out. I guess they are a problem only for people who intolerant to casein and lactose
      4. Also eating lot of calories in a sitting is not binge eating and it's not unhealthy. I like to cycle various eating patterns. I alternate eating many times a days with eating two times a day (skipping breakfast) to fasting to eating once a day (Warrior Diet) The day I eat only my calories at dinner I give my body a revamp. At night we are in a parasympathetic system mode, so we're more relaxed, more wired for assimilating food and I have provided my body a digestive rest during the day while in
      5. When we are thin and consciously eat just clean food and little food, our body get used to it and the effect of our healthy eating starts to fade. That's when you throw in a food load, eating as much as you want, enjoying the food delicious food. It's a sort of recharge that has positive effects and kind of rivitalize your body after getting used to more frugal eating.
      6. How you felt after you ate the sugar? Muscle ache could be caused by a lack of glycogen expecially if your muscles don't adapt to using fat as fuel. Some people adapt fully while other still need more carbs. Also if one has been following an high carb or high sugar diet for sometime it's not wise to go very low carb cold turkey. You should instead reduce every 5 days 10 grams by 10 grams of sugar and carbs. Otherwise your pancreas is fine-tuned to expect a rush of sugar and release insulin acco
      7. Which is what I don't like about living in Italy, pasta everywhere. And also the whole nation is fueled by coffee, everyone from students to professionals bonk around 10 am because the breakfast is just fast acting carbs and nothing else and the only reason they can drag themselves out of the bed in the morning is coffee. I hate the mediterranean diet
      8. There are usually two causes of ravenous hunger One is eating too many processed carbs. Not your case The other is not getting enough fuel. Basically you have two fuel: carbs and fats. Protein are a poor source of energy, they're poorly metabolized and must be used to repair and grow the tissues. So if you're going to eat very little carbs and mostly veggies, you compensate with a lot more fat. Fat is also dense so you won't have the problem of filling your stomach to excess. So eat mor
