Misty, Thank you I'm very encouraged then. My initial breakout is clearing up and there's absolutely nothing new. Plus. I can see where my three diagonal chicken pox scars are miraculously filling in before my eyes. Good luck on the rest of your treatments! Cheers, Kristie

Oh God! Thanks for the encouragement! It's just nice to know it gets better. My skin tone looks 100% better. It's just these few places where I knew there was some hidden stuff---it seems logical that this should happen, but like most...I love validation. Thanks!

Politely butting in... I'm curious if any other Smoothbeam patients experienced an initial breakout after their first smoothbeam treatment. My skin looked great for a few days after the treatment, and then I started breaking out in areas where I usually don't breakout. It looked like the Smoothbeam was just brining all these tiny pimples and blackheads to the surface on my forehead. I mainly breakout with cystic acne on my cheeks. I went to see Dr. Robert Weiss in Maryland yesterday for my first Smoothbeam treatment. I had a wonderful experience! He is tremendously kind and informative. Plus, he has the most gorgeous skin that I have ever seen in my entire life Anyway, the laser does feel like rubber bands snapping on your face. He let me feel it first before we officially started. I didn't opt for the numbing cream. I did get more sensitive when he worked closer to my eyes and mouth, but I still don't feel the

You are so funny----um, ....yeah, you go ahead up along the trail and let us know I think I'm going to do it. I'm finding more positive than negative. Plus, I can't really find any Smoothbeam horror stories. I know the doctor does a test spot first. I met Dr. Weiss when we were regulating the adult acne. If I remember correcty, it's anywhere from $200 to $300 a treatment depending on how much is needed and where it's needed. I'm estimating the whole thing will top out at $1200 if I

Hi there... Oh, that's so good to hear. I am the queen of different foundations for different things. Thanks for the info.

I'm new to this forum, so I hope I'm posting in the right place. I'm a 31-year-old female with minor rolling scarring on my cheeks from hormonal acne. I did one month of Accutane last June, but quickly went off of it. I now use Spironolactone, which has controlled the problem. My skin is typical Irish pale. Anyway, I am scheduled for my 1st Smoothbeam with Dr. Robert Weiss in Baltimore, Maryland on Monday (Nov. 10th). I would love to reduce my scars and zap a few chicken pox scars, but
