    Epiduo

Hope things are going well! Hope the purging stage clears up soon! I had my review at the doctors the other day he's going to reduce my antibiotics as he doesn't want me to build up a resistance I just hope my skin doesn't go back downhill! Still applying Epiduo religiously! My best friend at the moment lol Much love xx

Hey Vee! Thanks for the post I'm glad you managed to sort your acne out with Accutane, I've heard that Accutane can have quite bad side effects? Have you had any side effects from it? This is what put me off going on it but I think the Epiduo has done the trick for the time being.. I find it hard having acne as an older person then a teenager, as a care worker I work with a lot of elderly people who don't mean to be rude but quite a few times I've had somebody say 'what's that on your

    Epiduo

I know how you feel, regardless to whether it's mild or severe acne it's still a condition that affects you mentally too.. Mine was probably classed as mild compared to some of the photos I've seen on here, I know mine could probably have been a lot worse but it still makes you want to stay in the house and not want to socialise so I understand how you feel. I know it will be impossible to get 100% clear skin and I will never have the best skin, my mother also suffers with acne (she's 44 and s

Hi everyone! I'm a new member to this website although I have been visiting it since march for inspiration stories and to research all about acne and the different treatments, I never realised there were so many different type of acne and different types of medication it's crazy! I've been on a lot of different topical antibiotics and oral antibiotics and contraceptive pills which did nothing. I have been fighting with acne for years, when I was at school it was pretty normal, a lot of teen

The first few days were so painful using this, my skin was bright red, flaky, blotchy, itchy, inflamed, and sore. It really was painful and a few months in my skin was still purging and I came out in the worst breakout I've had for a long time. The first few days I slapped it on which was why it was so sore so I DO NOT recommend doing that. Stick to the instructions. I then reduced the application to every other day because I was so scared about how my skin was turning out, however I was keen to
  10. I use epitracker to take a photo of my face every day so that I could see the progress in my skin.. I first started using epiduo after being prescribed it in March 2014, I also took the medication oral antibiotic Erythromycin .. It has taken since late July/ beginning of August to show some improvement, for the first few weeks my skin went through a purging stage, things got worse before they got better! I had red, itchy, dry, flaky skin, I wasn't able to wear makeup whilst going through this pr

    Epiduo

To be honest, I have never tried the regime so I can't comment on that, I use to look on this website for motivation and inspiration as my acne made me really really depressed to the point where I was diagnosed with depression. I have only recently joined as a member and will probably add photos soon as I have uploaded some (I'm on a new laptop) I started epiduo in March 2014 and then a couple of weeks later I started taking erythromycin which is an antibiotic, this is normally for infection

I love epiduo! I didn't to begin with it made my skin so itchy dry red and flaky I was so embarrassed but I'm glad I went through that to get clear skin! Hope it works well for you too x

    Cetaphil?

I use cetaphil cleanser and moisturiser after being prescribed epiduo as an acne treatment. Epiduo made my skin very dry and red for the first few weeks and it was hell but cetaphil was so gentle and refreshing on my skin. It's the best thing ever, I've now got rid of all my other cleansers which were far too harsh! Cetaphil isn't cheap but mine has lasted me since march this year and that's with washing twice a day and it's so gentle it really doesn't aggravate the skin, the moisturiser is a gr
