I stopped using my MUA 30% glycolic peel aftter my bad experience. My face was burnt due to the sensitiveness from Differin and Clindamycin. I really want to use something to exfoliate but am not sure what to use. Any suggestions? I am looking for something not harsh. TIA.

I tried the tape method hoping to get rid of the red marks faster. My skin was sensitive from Differin. I yanked the tape off and end up pulling skin off. I have a small scar on my left cheek. Luckily I have a dimple there so it sort of not too noticeable. My face was RED from using apple cider - again hoping to get rid of the red spots. So far the only thing that I found works wonder for my skin is drink a lot of lemon juice. Lemon juice and exercise make my skin radiant.

what is the best type of birth control 4 acne?
Lexie replied to nofx_gurl_420's topic in Prescription acne medications
I was suffering from mild acne over a year ago. Since I have been on Yasmin, Differin, and Clindamycin, I have been clear for over a year. -
I have been using it for about 5 months along with Differin and Yasmin. I am not sure if it's working. I have moderate acne. At first I was on Differin and Spironlactone and they didn't do a thing for me until I got on Yasmin. I think Yasmin is doing the job. I continue to use a gel at night and during the day just in case.

I think I will need to use this. I also have the same question for Differin users. Do you apply the Vita K before or after? TIA.

I didn't know that he has/had acne. Cameron Diaz also suffers from acne. I have not ever seen her with it (tabloid photos) but she actually did not show up for one important event because she was covered with marks. She admitted it.

What's the best birth control pill for acne?
Lexie replied to DancingStar's topic in Prescription acne medications
Yasmin works for me. I still get one or two breakouts during TTOM :? I wish the marks would fade :? -
How long have you been using this product and how severe were your marks? My PCP told me that acne scars takes about 6 months to heal when I asked her to prescribe something to get rid of them.

I suffer acne on my lower parts of my face. I work out 3 x a week and I am always soak in sweat after I am done with running and I have not had any problems with my back. I recommend that you do not put your towels on the equipment and then wipe yourself afterward. I also wash my hands after I am done with my workout before I get undress. If you sweat profusely like I do, I use the towel on the bench but not let it contact my skin afterward. I usually get a shower within 30 minutes of workout

I have been on it for 7 weeks now. It is hard to say whether it is working for me or not. I have moderate acne. I was taking Spirolactone for near 3 months along with Differin (at night). I broke out horribly (worse than b4 getting on med). I stopped taking Spiron and got on Yasmin (morning). I was also prescribed Clindamycin Phosphate for the morning. Yasmin cleared up the bumps I had while on Spironlactone. I was clear for about 3 weeks. Just this last week, I had 3 cyst popped out! I

Lola, Thanks for the update. Glad to hear that it is working for you. Unfortunately for me, I was clear for 3 weeks and now have two cysts on my left cheek and one on my right cheek. I am just really fed up. I thought Yasmin was the answer but I am not so sure anymore. I think all the meds keep my acne at bay, otherwise, I would have jumped over the bridge by now. I will give it a try when my face clears, if it ever does! It's too sensitive now

Hi Lola, How is this working out for you? I have not had any active acne (knock on wood) for about a month now. I have the marks on my face and would like to lighten it. I am exfoliating with the Scotch tape now and am eager to find out how Susan Lucci's Youth Essence is working for you. TIA.

Here's my current regimen for moderate acne: BCP Yasmin - 10 (used it for a month and it cleared my skin) Clindamycin - 8 (morning) Differin - 4 (night, not sure if this does anything) Spironlactone - 0 (used it 3 months and it did nothing)
