I use: johnsons summer skin self

  6. everyones an individual so it depends, but i take dianette(diane-35) and it say it can take 3months to see improvement, wich is about rright for me..hope that helps
  7. there is a whole thread about this in topic called diane-35 is it safe? which u might find helpful, ive written quite a bit bout my experiences on it in there thanks for your honesty foomph and i can totally understand your frustrations!its good to let off steam here sure what else r these message boards for?im jus little worried as u said u stopped taking your ati-depressants,did u do this under medical supervision?and come off them gradually? anyway hope things pick up for u soon in the ol b
  8. I think people need to be aware of what they say/write on message boards in particular about medications..how can you say something is not safe-do you have scientific proof?if something was really unsafe would it not be taken off the market? remember the best advice you can get about a medication is from a healthcare provider-ie,your doctor or nurse. just remeber anyone can write what they want on the internet, dont take everything as fact and different medications work differently on differnt pe
  9. yes it is, its a pill that is offered to women who have acne and want contraceptive..also offered to women with pcos...it wouldnt be offered to women as a first choice of contraceptive who have no problems with thier skin, pcos or excessive hair growth(on the body)
  10. you can still get skin cancer even if you dont ever burn...black and asian people get skin cancer!! be very careful and check any moles you have regularily that they dont change shape/colour when i was younger I also did sunbeads which dried out my skin and i looked great,no spots and a tan!! but now im getting older (almost 24) the wrinkles and the damage it causes r really not worth it... just remember that the sunbed is giving u some many more rays than even the natural sun woul
  11. hmmmm c im unsure if there is any difference about you're from thats why its nteresting to c what this topic shows up. K ,generally irish, celtic types have fair, freckly skin and blue eyes and id say most irish people have slightly drier skin than normal. But then the dry skin prob comes from the climate, wind and rain pelting down on u most of the time..though dry skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis seem to be common... None of my friends have skin like mine, oily n spotty!!n anyone i kn
  12. I think it is, maybe check the trade name, im from ireland and its called dianette here.. im starting back on it today as i cant stand looking at my skin like this at the mo, especially as its coming into the summer months i dont want to have my spotty back on show in halter tops as well my boobs grew as well, though that could have been just development cause i was only 18 when i started on it and i was a late developer, went from 34 B to a D, but they've shrunk to a C in the last few months
  13. Is Dianette available in the US? And you talked about "other pills". What other meds did you take with your OC? I think its called diane 35 in the U.S...i just went to the doc today and im gonna start back on it, the only time i was free of spots was when i was on it, my friend has re-started on it as well as she found it worked well for her. I tried antibiotics years ago, minocyn i think (cant spell) but my skin got really really bad for about a month, and the doc said it would take anoth
  14. Hold on a second...if he didnt "offload" for 2 weeks this obviously means he didnt make love/have sex with his girlfriend(your friend) for this lenght of time....if he was that concered with losing zinc he could have eaten lots of grains and meat/fish instead of sacrificing making sweet music with his woman...the lenghts some people go to amazes me I do agree with you about "ingesting it"(you have a nice way with words) though...makes more sense im sure it was just a coincidence
  15. my friend used bio-oil for a very bad scar from a dogbite on her face as well as silicon-gel yokies but dont ask me what they are!!he scar is practically invisable now and she swears by the stuff as she plays hockey and is always getting nasty cuts which leave nasty scars. She also uses it on her dry skin, she has skin as soft an clean as a babys arse so shes no fear in breaking out however since ive active spots still on my face and back id be scared to give it a go
