  2. Just an update on this. I've been shaving with the cleanser the past 2 days, it works great. The only thing is it doesn't lather on real good when I'm in the shower, I use 2-3 full pumps but I don't get any razor burn and I've noticed my face doesn't sting or feel irritated anymore like it did with shaving cream when I'm done. Hopefully this will help reduce my breakouts even more.
  3. I'm going to panama city, florida in 3 weeks with some friends and I plan on taking the bottles with me, how do I relock them so they won't leak in my suitcase?
  4. Thanks I'm going to try shaving with the cleanser tomorrow, I've just been afraid of razor burn.
  5. I got the new bottles today because it's the first time I've ordered in 2 years. I actually like the acne.org on the bottles, I would like my friends to see that I'm trying to take care of my acne and that its okay to do so without feeling embarrassed about it.
  6. Dan have you ever thought about doing a shaving cream/gel? For some odd reason I still believe shaving creams/gels breakout my face as I only breakout where I shave and I use the sensor excel 2 blade. Maybe in the future it would be pretty cool to have a shaving cream with ingredients helpful for the face with some jojoba oil or aloe added in. Just a suggestion or idea I thought I would post lol.
  7. Red marks stay for 6 months to a year to begin with. My dermatologist told me we need 20 minutes of sun each day to help our skin, tanning for an hour or longer each day is wrong and will cause trouble later on in life, but tanning for 20 minutes here and there will not hurt you or cause any major pre-mature aging. Just be sure to wear sun screen of at least 15 spf.
  8. It always helps me but be sure to do it gradually. Don't do one hour each day, do about 20 minutes so you're not burning your skin or causing any damage. 15-20 minutes of sun each day is healthy for your skin.
  9. http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp...amp;catid=10210 I've done some research on tea tree oil and it seems to help acne. I was wondering if anyone here has used it before? I know jojoba oil is good for the skin but was wondering about tea tree oil as well, I'm trying to keep things organic/natural of what I'm putting on my face.
  10. AHA speeds the renewal process up of your skin and takes care of the dead skin cells from getting into your pores. I use it every night before I go to bed and it works great. I don't recommend using it during the day because it makes your skin more prone to the sun for sun burn. I don't use it for spot treatment, I apply it all over my face because it's very good for the skin but be sure to start out every other night because it will sting when you first start using it but that only lasts for a
  11. I use AHA daily every night, it's kept my skin in great condition. I use the souffle by alpha hydrox product line, it lasts for about 3-4 months and costs $14-15 I believe.
  12. Which is best for the use of AHA? I read creme was the better option but wanted to make sure before I buy some from alpha hydrox.
  13. I'm thinking about using the following regimen below. I was wondering if it's okay to use both acids in the same day but not at the same time. Morning: 1. Wash Face with Gentle Face Wash 2. Treat acne spots with Stridex Triple Action Acne Pads with Salicylic Acid 3. Apply Aloe Vera Gel for Moisturising Evening: 1. Wash Face with Gentle Face Wash 2. Apply Aloe Vera Gel for Moisturising 3. Wait 30 minutes - Apply Glycolic Acid lotin/cream from Alpha Hydrox product line
  14. It seems all the pimples I get are pustules. I don't get any of the cysts or anything like that, mine usually last for 2-5 days. The thing is I usually have 3-5 on each side of my face around the jawline by my mouth. Is there anything in particular that causes pustules? I've been getting them since I was 13 or 14 and I'm 21 now. Thanks.
  15. I change my razor blade every Saturday. I use the schick quattro.
