  1. It's annoying as.. Your right. But the longer it takes it's usually the older you are and it's better in the long run as your less likely to get a scar the longer it attempts healing it.
  2. Some spots like whiteheads maybe a day or two red mark, pustule ones maybe a week to two, cysts a month or two. And then some spots cause marks for 6 months-years (this could be a pustule/cyst).. It's strange they don't stick to a certain time window.
  3. Hello! Been dealing with acne for around 6 years, I'm now 20, coming onto 21 and it's getting worse by the day to the point it's covering sections of my face. I'm going to be taking a tablet of 100mg doxycycline a day and differen gel 0.3% applied at night. Alongside using effaclar wash and duo+ morning and night. I've also cut a majority of sugar out of my diet and drink a minimum of a litre of water. Hopefully won't need to go onto accutane, Only time will tell Here's first weeks pictures
  4. What the fuck is this. This isn't acne, this is a spot or two. People on this site take the piss...
  5. Fucking red marks. Same boat, cheek looks like I have full blown aids.. 21 years fucking old. Can't get a job cause who's gonna hire a kid riddled with aids on his face in the business sector? Fuck the system, fuck snakes on the plane for a shit storyline. And fuck red marks.
  6. Bump, I've got same on right cheek although it's even redder.
  7. La roche-posay products are non-comedogenic, plus the duo+ specifically unclogs poresI checked and the facewash does indeed contain SLS, which may irritate your skin. However since it's tested by dermatologists I wouldn't worry about it. I tried the facewash for a while and it made my skin very dry but that's all, no clogged pores, no irritation. I have an oily face so it's fine for me plus I use a tiny bit of the effaclar mat moisturiser afterwards.

  9. Hello, Firstly let me just say that my acne is moderate to severe, I have tried everything... From highstreet brand, to yesto natural range, to high end products.. Without exaggerating. Easily thousands of £ over the years. I decided to try one more range before giving up and going to a dermatologist,, this being la roche-posay effaclar. The duo+ and purifying wash. After using it for a few days, all the red marks started purging.. Look horrid but it isn't the cheapest so I thought ah hell,
  10. You look fine :/ try la roche-posay duo+, helping mine which is much worse. Or just let time do it's thing, it's barely noticeable.
  11. I'm in the same position although mine are all on one cluster so it's even worse... Red marks sadly just need time to heal. There are ways you can speed this up though! Vitamins! - C, E, B5 and Zinc are all helpful for renewing skin cells and speeding up the process! Zinc gluconate is preferred. This can be via tablets or food in general, just look it up nuts and fruit seem to be the best route. Epsom salt - I find this keeps any new spots from appearing, it also contains magnesium. Dilute

  13. Since posting they've eased up inflammation wise, looks much better than that! Problem is there's skin which looks like it's trying to grow over the marks but is constantly drying up.. Any ideas? are u using any salycilyc prodcuts that may keep opening the red marks ? Using epsom salt and acv as toner
  14. I'm not entirely sure since I have really pale skin, but it seems to blend in nicely for me without residue. Ok thanks, I'll do some reading about! Appreciate all the help. Enjoy the rest of your evening.
