  1. Umas, thank you! I was hoping maybe it is taking longer on me than normal... (of course it would right?) My Dr is telling me to stick it out for 12 weeks and that sometimes it can take up to 8-12 weeks to completely get clear. I haven't had any new breakouts in a couple of days, but I definetly have more acne than the normal person should at this point. I really hope it's just the Epidou like you say.
  2. Hello! So I've been on Epidou and Doxycycling since January 12th of this year. I'm getting quite disappointed because I haven't had much relief although my cystic acne has turned into more superficial acne. (White heads and a tad smaller) I take 100 ml twice a day and use the Epidou once a day as instructed. I also take tons of vitiams. It's discouraging to read most people claim to have their skin much better by 4-6 weeks with both medications. I get at least one pimple a day which definetly ad
  3. Im on my 6th week of the regiment and things have gradually been getting better. At first my skin was very sensitive and red due to using to much BP, but its starting to ajust rather well now, just a few dry areas that are easily wipe-away-able. I did however break out during my 5th week due to skipping the BP in the morning just one time, which took about 4 days to start clearing up with a strict regiment and lots of BP. I have high hopes for the future and you should too! It seems as though ev
  4. I had the same concern. I work out during the day or like to remove my makeup to take an afternoon nap. I found just washing your face with water is fine as long as you wait a couple hours for the BP to absorb into your skin. I reapply my moisterizer after as well so my skin doesn't dry out. Noted, Ive only done this for the last 2 days, but it hasn't effected my skin at all and I continue to see improvements. (: Hope this helps! <3
  5. Thank you so much for your response! Its good your starting up again. I know how frustrating dry skin can be now, but fortunantly It does get better. This is my second week so yay! My skin has gotten better as far as acne is concerned, but I'm having trouble with makeup now. It looks flaky and dry, but I'm hoping with the right makeup products I can fix that. I will also try the primer. Congrats on your weight loss! I know its a hard journey and even more discouraging when it doesn't make an e
  6. Hello! I saw a youtube video raving about acne.org and decided to give it a try! I started 3 days ago and have some questions. Background: Im 19 years old and have had moderate to light acne since I was in 7th grade. Its mild compared to some, but bothersome to say the least. I break out the worst a week or a few days before my TOM and sometimes experience breakouts for 2 weeks after, then have a few days of clear skin, and the cycle repeats itself. I have lost 23 pounds in the last 3 mon
