  1. Did the ringing  go away ?

I had minocycline to treat my acne for 1 month and 10 days (100mg twice a day). I had it for 30 days then I took a rest, then I got the refill and 9 days after the refill, I started feeling ringing in my ear and I stop the med for 2 days, the ringing went away, then I had the med for one more day. The ringing came back  and then I stopped right away.

The ringing was like motor sound in the beginning.  It reduces a lot over these four weeks but I can still hear a little bit now. I can feel the ear pressure and motor sound during the first two weeks. The sound started decreasing during the third week. During the fourth week the sound was like 'si si si si' and the motor sound went away completely. Its been four week since I stopped the medicine.

I am so worried if the 'si si si si' sound wont go away.

    1. Your skin looks perfect omg I wish I had it! No your pores look great! I've used retinoids before and I would highly recommend stepping up to the 0.05% but always buffer during application
    2. Hey Guys, Veteran member here. Ive been battling acne since I was a teen, cant remember how young now. I've had 2 courses of accutane and tried numerous topicals. Around 26-27 yrs of age, my acne became very mild and manageable. I've just had my first child, and my skin has steadily gone downhill since giving birth. I am 11 months post-partum and my skin looks the worst it ever has. Over the last 6 months i have tried proactiv, PC BHA 2%, PC BHA 4%, (no BP as this is too damaging to m
    3. Hey all, just an update.. I used the PC retinol for the last 6 nights and I didn't experience and adverse effects.... Not even one flake... But I also haven't seen any real results.... New spots are cropping up and lingering, not coming to a head, etc. I went to my doc today and got an Rx for Retin-A 0.05%. Just washed my face and applied it buffered with cerave lotion... I will be starting a retin A log. Bottom Line: PC retinol did nothing for my type of acne. Have a good night!
    4. Cerave AM and PM lotions are both excellent. Contain ceramides, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide...all of those will help with to repair your skin barrier (Acid Mantle) which BP damages.

    6. Hi, k well first off idk what kind of scarring you have...but if you have deep indented scars, like pock marks, craters or icepick scars, the microdermabrasion will not do anything for you....in that case you will need something alot stronger like profraxel or something, look it up... But if you have just good old red-marks (hyperpigmentation) than microdermabrasion will work only if paired with the right products... I tons of hyperpigmentation, I became clear quite quickly from tazorac but i

    9. I took accutane twice. Once for 4 months at a dose of 40 mg/day. The next time for six months at a dose of 50 mg/day. Here are the side effects that are still with me 2 years later -dry scaly skin all over my body -joint pain in my knees, hands, and fingers -dry, itchy scalp -sometimes i have tinnitus - ringing in the ears -decreased night vision - it takes so long for me to adjust to a dark room -light sensitivity - i cannot be outside on a partially sunny day without sun glasses - it litera
    10. Just wanted to give you guys an update.... I have been using tazorac for 8 weeks now (PM only) and I was using Benzaclin in the AM. I was washing my face 2x per day with Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser. Well, about 6 weeks in I was pretty satisfied with my results. I had a minimal IB around week 2 and 3 and then my skin just got continously better. I was still breaking out with 2 or 3 pustules a week however. This was still an improvement since before the taz I would have about 6 to 7 pus
    11. Lush has some awesome moisturizers that DONT BURN!!!!!!!!!! I like gorgeous for days when I dont need alot, but lately i've needed extra moisture, so i use Skin's Shangri-La. The are almost completely natural and made from fresh ingredients. I was using Oil of Olay before, but that feels like its just sitting on top of my skin, and it burns. Also, If you want to remove the flakies, I found that my trusted St. Ives Apricot Scrub burns now.....but Lush has a genle exfoliator (COMPLETELY NATURA
