  1. Great spot treatment

I put this on as a spot treatment before I go to bed. Generally the next day the zits have scabbed and are starting to heal over, which doesnt even happen with proactiv. I use this nightly until there is no scab. I find it helps reduce scarring. You can use it during the day but i prefer not to have shiny skin. I put under my eyes to prevent puffiness too.
  2. I used this initially for my heart (it helps with palpitations etc) and noticed how much dryer my face became. It was so dry i could actually moisturize with emu oil which i did not mind at all. It took 1-2 weeks to kick in, taking 1 gram in 600ml of water every morning, from a bpa free cup. I did not change my diet, but i did also drink more water (because i was drinking this in the first hour of being awake) I stopped taking Alcar recently due to bad time management and have noticed how oily m

  4. The best way is not to cover them up but to address the issue and try close them. Of they are big and noticable chances are they are filled with lots of makeup, oil and dead skin. Best think to dissolve caked up oil/ sebum is to use oil. I find that grapeseed oil with ground cinnamon in it is a nice cleanser/ exfoliator. The grapeseed oil WONT clog pores as it is a fine oil, infact people with bad skin tend to use it as a moisturizer due to its cleansing effects. Gently heat up your clean
  5. Hi all. I came up with a concoction in my bathroom which is greatly helping my face in its healing process, and it doesnt break me out. I started with a natural moisturizer which has essential oils in it. I found that essential oils help lubricate my skin and not only plump it up but helps stop it from making more oil and helps my scars heal. 6. Great hormone balancer. Does NOT cause androgens

For the past year I have been getting really bad break outs around my chin and jawline, particularly around my 'that time of the month". I read that this is caused by hormone imbalance and one of the best things for this is Maca Root. After further reading it is also advised to take this if you suffer from ovarian cysts as these are also likely caused by hormone imbalance. I bought 500mg capsules in a 4:1 ratio (the strength of 2000mg) and absolutely love these. The first week i started to brea
  7. Ive started supplementing with Kelp tablets which has 200mcg iodine it it. I read that after finishing the BCP your thyroid gets all out of whack because you are trying to produce natural hormones, and that iodine helps support thyroid by helping it function. Anyone - If you have gone off the BCP within the last year and have irregular periods (or none at all) and also have greasy skin and acne give this a shot.
  8. I am 23 and have NEVER suffered from acne in my life, except for this year when i went off the BCP for health reasons. I was unsure about Maca, but im game to try anything to get rid of this awfulness. I bought Maca CAPSULES as i read the raw powder is not good for you (google it). I take 500mg, 4:1 every morning (so its as strong as 2000mg) and must say it helped a little with cystic acne on my chin and has helped regulate my periods too. Just give it a shot. Start off with a low dose and c
  9. Its winter for me at the moment and my skin has gone to sh**. Im taking 2000iu of D3 (day 2 is today) and when the sun comes out i try to soak as much of it up as i can. I really hope my skin clears like yours does.
  10. It increases testosterone, not DHT. The Maca has actually slowed down my cystic acne by balancing my hormones, and the saw palmetto inhibits the conversion of DHT from testosterone. I did exfoliation with find ground cinnamon and tried my proactive 3 days later, but i have sensitive skin and i feel that it thinned my skin out to the point i had to lather grapeseed oil on it or it would burn. I am now trying Vit D as its winter here.. I didnt really have pimples in summer so this could be my pr
  11. 80 The first thing i do in the morning is touch my face to feel if theyre still there..
  12. Try Nizoral 1% shampoo. I dont use it on my whole head, just my forehead, nape and around my ears. Its also an antiandrogen and you should be able to get some off the shelf in your chemist.
  13. Look up chinese face mapping. Acne on your chin/ jawline is hormonal Acne on your forehead is diet and stress and acne on your cheeks is diet/food allergies/too much dairy. This might help? Xx
  14. Hmm I had the same on my nose from a large pore. Its very odd thats for sure. I used a 3% solution of peroxide on the end of a cotton bud and dabbed it twice a day. I havent had a problem since.
